  • It's rather tough to juggle filming and turning wrenches at the same time. I've been so tunnel-visioned into working on the build that I may have forgotten to turn the camera on a time or two.
Fear not. There are more videos to come! Once this is finished, there will most certainly be a walk around video. In the meantime, if something of interest catches your attention, leave it in the comments below and I will do my best to highlight it in another video.
The Battleborn Battery bank and power system will have its very own video coming up shortly. There are a LOT of cool elements to that, so please stay tuned.

It's your build, your life, and your videos.
This ain't about the viewers (or the complainers!) You do what's right for YOU!! Don't stress about it.
If it takes you 5 weeks or 5 years, it doesn't matter.
You build (and film) however it works best for YOU!
I've been at my latest hot-rod build for OVER 18 Years now! Everyone keeps bugging me asking when it'll be done, and I just tell 'em..."When it's done, you'll know"
(Thank Heavens I'm now onto the final interior assemblies...*whew*)
    You're doing a killer job, btw!! 😎👍

Keep them coming as you can; I’m sure most of us are looking towards the final “reveal” when everything is ready for the next step. Looking AMAZING!!
I think most of us realize it's a TON of work and then some -- sure we'd love to see all the details step by step, but you're literally a one-woman crew for building and filming and your best is more than good enough. Crazy amount of work by both yourself, and the crew at Talus -- be proud of yourselves!
    Cheers!...from North Vancouver

That is part of being a good juggler, knowing how many balls you can have in the air without dropping any or all. If you need to take a few balls out of the air to be more successful, then do it. This is your crunch time, concentrate on the truck and get it done right. The time lapse was a perfect glimpse and there will be plenty of time for filming all the details when you are back on the road.
Last but not least………deep breath in…………….deep breath out……………..repeat.
Your build is coming along beautifully.

We owe you allowing us to witness the very impressive build. I can’t get over how vibrant the blue is and how well it matches the truck. I am biased as I have the same color on my Tacoma. I totally hear you on filming vs working. Sometimes it's more than just a question of remembering to set up a camera. For me at least it's two completely different mindspaces...when I'm trying to figure stuff out and make progress on a build project, thinking about setting up shots and talking to the viewers can be disruptive to the mental processes and momentum I'm trying to keep rolling...and that's without necessarily having a massive deadline hanging over my head like you do.
The camper is looking incredible. As the French say, _bon courage_ .

The thing I love about "dropping a ball" is that balls always bounce back up. That is the nature of rubber. BUT DON'T EVER DROP A FISH TANK! Hey, look, you are concentrating on doing a good job. That is what you should be concentrating on. We do not want to ever hear you say -- way out in the middle of nowhere; let's make it 250 miles west of nowhere -- we don't want to ever hear you say: "Dang, I forgot to bolt the J Bar to the Kliedal Copper." That would not be cool. So, move as fast as you can move while still doing a perfect job. And DO NOT move any faster than that. You have the rest of your life to enjoy living in your home sweet home. You only have a few more weeks to enjoy the process of making it.. Don't let the bastards get you down. Please let yourself enjoy the process. Admit it. You are having the time of your life..... Changing the subject. You do realize you have invented a new kind of camper, right? Because you invented it you get to name it. May I suggest you call it a "Glamper Camper"? And every camping vehicle has to have a female name, right. May I suggest you call it "Mariah" -- as in the song "They Call the Wind Mariah". th-cam.com/video/tvwzEQy4MhY/w-d-xo.html Take care of yourself.

@@BadassBrunette If you married a guy named Schwartz then your initials would be Babs. It is like this, Babs. You are really close. A very determined Mom kept searching for her runaway teenage daughter. And she finally found her. Her daughter had joined a circus and was wearing a clown outfit. Her job was to follow the elephant in the circus parade with a snow shovel, and a broom, pulling a garbage can behind her. Her job was to scoop up any and all elephant poop and put it in the garbage can -- but to clown around and entertain while doing it. Crying, the Mom walked up to her daughter and begged her "Honey, please come home." The daughter also crying: "Mom, I love you but I can't give up show business." This is s funny punch line, but it is also an important point. There is a reason why I told this story. Sometimes in life it is necessary to dress up like a clown, and follow the elephant in the circus parade. Sooner or later, we all have to do it. Life is like that. Give your Mom and hug, kiss her on the forehead, and tell her that you love her -- but dare to dream your dream. It is your dream and nobody else's. CHASE THAT DREAM. That is what you are doing, Babs, and I salute you. Without a vision AND a dream -- (they go together) -- a man or a woman, or a marriage, or a nation perishes. I am 77, and am still chasing my dream. It is a noble dream and it is going to do a lot of good for a lot of people, but it is also fun. I expect to live to 130, because that is how long it is going to take, but I will be living a full, exciting and rich life along the way. I will NEVER EVER be into lawn bowling or sitting in a rocking chair. My love goes out to you. Just who you are -- you crack me up, and you inspire me.

Doing any one of these things, building, filming, editing, and living life, is a lot to take on. Doing it all at once it a huge workload. Worry about getting the build done right first. You can always catch up on filming, can't easily go back and fix mistakes you made cause you were rushing or distracted.

    • @BadassBrunette
      @BadassBrunette  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

So far the only issue with them was the ridiculously lousy original wiring job (not done by me) that caught on fire, melted the wiring and arced to the roof rack bolts. That was fun.
Aside from that, zero issues. I've loved having them up there. Nothing I would change. But lights are kind of one of those personal preference things. Lots of options for type and placement.
