I was at Born late records in Ft. Worth and Michael and Sam were there also and I didn’t know who they were and I was wearing an Obituary shirt so Michael approached me and asked me to check out his band. He said they were kinda like Bolt Thrower and he dropped off some vinyl cds and tapes. I bought the vinyl because I am a Bolt Thrower fan and I like to support new bands and I have to say I was really impressed. Great band. Right up my alley.

Frozen Soul put on the best show I've ever attended in Winnipeg. Such a wholesome bunch of people. Bumped into Chad after the show, dude was super friendly. Can't wait to see them again. Hopefully with Fuming Mouth and Phobophilic again!

I love seeing the Texas locals blow up. I was playing in the Dallas scene wanting to start and old school death metal band around 2017 before I moved out of Texas. As soon as I moved some of the bands have blown up which is awesome to see.

definitely a lot of bands have been coming out of texas and ohio lately for sure but i think the whole "osdm revival" predates that from west coast bands like the ones they mentioned but especially those associated with 20 buck spin. on the european side of things also with bands like dead congregation and especially with danish bands like undergang. the maggot stomp era with all the ohio and texas bands definitely brought it to the next level of popularity but its been brewing for like a decade on a more underground level with bands from all over especially on labels like dark descent and profound lore. its awesome to see how far its come that death metal is this big again
I met these guys at the recent toronto show with tbdm and they killed it. Super nice guys tbh. And they thanked me for buying some merch from them. Always good to meet some badass down to earth metal musicians. Morbid Effigyyy kills live.

Frozen Soul scratches every itch. Death metal revival akin to Gate Creeper while having an 80s horror ice vibe. I feel like they have created a new meta genre. Really cool stuff and keep these bands coming Garza!

I enjoy their music & 1st album videos are why he’s saying ‘certain things about k-lling people’ every time he sees you. Those are good videos. On the interview note, they’re very dry & don’t smile much or joke around & seem over serious for ‘liking to have fun’ 200SW, Undeath or Outer Heaven next for this wave of music or JFaC, Carnifex, the faceless or Emmure would be good on here.
