What Ken said about improvising drum parts, not gonna lie as I was improving my own style, Ken’s creativity as had a huge impact on my own playing. I’m not able to play super fast like he does but some of his stuff I’ve been like “cool, let me try!”. Even though I do like the drummers from many bands, Ken's unique ability rubbed off on my playing lol

Huge inspiration to drumming, awesome to see this and how chill Ken is. Met him once while he was touring up in Canada in Toronto and he was super nice and chill to talk to after their show. Def my absolute fav drummer and can't wait to hear more music Ken and Aborted put out! Cheers.

I was at one of the shows for Obscura when they played for something like 15 people. That sucked for them, but oh fuck, that was the most personal performance I've ever seen. They still did individual solos and a the whole set, which I will NEVER forget!

THis was superinteresting. Ken Bedene is one of the best extreme metal drummers. He also seems like a very good dude who def has had a lot of doubts and stuff. Guy is very self-aware and not afraid to talk about things that has gone wrong. But seing how good he is, he could use some more self-esteem man 😂 Great guy though!

Nah, I don't think there's lack of self-esteem with Ken. As for doubts, who doesn't have them? Especially if you're playing in a band of that level
@@metaldrummersunited5716 He doesn't come across as the the guy with the most self-esteem, but good to know. Yes, I didn't say it was something bad. That's the point. It shows he has had struggles like everyone else :9 "Heal-toe" = playing slow sixten notes with triggers, is def cheating by the way ;) Why not just program the drums then or juust a tripple pedal. Same thing.
