What Ken said about improvising drum parts, not gonna lie as I was improving my own style, Ken’s creativity as had a huge impact on my own playing. I’m not able to play super fast like he does but some of his stuff I’ve been like “cool, let me try!”. Even though I do like the drummers from many bands, Ken's unique ability rubbed off on my playing lol

THis was superinteresting. Ken Bedene is one of the best extreme metal drummers. He also seems like a very good dude who def has had a lot of doubts and stuff. Guy is very self-aware and not afraid to talk about things that has gone wrong. But seing how good he is, he could use some more self-esteem man 😂 Great guy though! Im a drummer, what a nightmare with triiggers misfiring when you got legends you look up to also playing 😂
@@metaldrummersunited5716 He doesn't come across as the the guy with the most self-esteem, but good to know. Yes, I didn't say it was something bad. That's the point. It shows he has had struggles like everyone else :9 "Heal-toe" = playing slow sixten notes with triggers, is def cheating by the way ;) Why not just program the drums then or juust a tripple pedal. Same thing.

Nah, I don't think there's lack of self-esteem with Ken. As for doubts, who doesn't have them? Especially if you're playing in a band of that level
