Just saw these guys a few days ago with Brujeria and Napalm Death for my first ever show, came into these guys performing and honestly despite being front row for napalm death and in the pit for Brujeria, Frozen Soul gave off a whole different aura, they were mesmerizing and an absolute blast to see live. I hope one day to see them up there with the big names cuz they have something special
The Epitaph package tour. Hot Water Music is one of my favorite bands of all time. Slayer was my first concert. Went to the Ozzfest befor that one. Little know band System of a Down. Primus. Deftones. Rob Zombie.
I’m with Matt and Sam on seeing Sabbath. Wasn’t at the same fest but I was at Download 2005 here in the UK. I was 19 and it was my first metal festival and I got to see Black Sabbath with their original lineup which was an absolute bucket list moment as I was and am a huge fan, Anthrax with their original lineup, Slayer with Dave Lombardo (there’s a 15 minute video of that set on TH-cam - it was insane), Motörhead, Megadeth, Napalm Death to name a few… not something I’ll ever forget and I got an original flyer of it framed on my wall.
My First concert was Ozzfest ‘99 Fucking awesome show, got to see alot of the bands i listened to. Met Fear Factory, and Slipknot after they played on the 2nd stage. My favorite concert is Pantera Extreme Steel ‘01
The first heavy show I saw was around 95-97. It was an Ozzfest and the "prince of darkness" bowed out due to being a pathetic wimp. But I got to see Fear Factory in the midst of the Demanufacture era, so I can't complain.
