8:25 The shopkeeper here that sold you the water needs praise, you asked him what area you were in to clarify and he didn’t show any aggression but gave you the reply you were looking for, didn’t overcharge you for the bottle of water and didn’t try to rob or outsmart you even when u told him u had $200 he just took the $2, Need more people like him

Seriously most people in those areas are like that, just guidance is lacking yes and some need it more than others, there's a lot of work to do here but Trinidad is far from unsalvageable, actually it can be very quickly with the right leaderahip and foresight, Trini people arent bad people in general.
People just want to be included and there are many ways to make people feel included at different levels...

Yes my man. My late wife rip ♥️ her father was from T&T I was there as a young white man back in 2003. I stayed in St Anns Port of Spain for a month and I rolled all over T&T. Always be my people. My daughter used to stay every summer holidays with her grandfather so she’s more Trini than her mother 😂 when I was about they thought I was military a mercenary but I was just a east end Londoner loving up the vibes. Bus up shop for me Roti and Liming on a Sunday great times. I even contemplated moving there but back then it was all about kidnapping that was the big news on the island. @@eileenwatt8283 I am sure the person was not talking about the sea. Trinidad was given natural resources that fuels the economy of the country. They don't have to depend on tourism. Because of the country's geographical position, the country cannot have clean water like some of the other islands. Every island was created differently for a reason. I have been to Jamaica several times and I know what he or she meant about the place being clean. Trinidadians should be glad that the whole population's electricity and gas are subsidized by the government. Education is free. How many countries have even free university education? Medical is free. It is only not free if you want to pay a fortune to a private institution. They complain about everything. I wonder why people from all over the Caribbean and other countries have been immigrating to Trinidad over the last century if it is so disgusting. I always say people are free ro leave.

You did walk through Muslim City (9) but you didn’t go to Rasta City you were in Saint Paul that’s the (6)that area use to be Rasta city , next time go to Beetham which is the (7)that is consider Rasta City. Rasta City vs Muslim war was bigger but Rasta 7 and 6 separated. And as you noticed Canada area of Trinidad is essentially abandoned. ABG is (8) , that brother is correct . The Muslim (9) made a truce with Rasta City and they kept it , so it’s calm but right now (7) and (6) are currently still at war . As a Muslim of course I side with the (9) , but the brother gave you a pretty accurate history of the conflict . And although everyone mentioned that it’s safe , the war is not over , the war between 7 and 6 is still active .

For anyone wondering, Rasta city isn’t associated with people who follow Rastafarian as a religious purpose. One guy who goes by the name “Rasta” as a nickname, runs the gang “ All branches “ therefore people who so ever engaged with called themselves Rasta City , as a slang term …

Dawg be careful of what you are saying, A majority of those guys are cool with civilians who aren't representing a number but once you're a rivaling number/gang it's something else, they can turn from friendly to enemy, and when you were asking for where the Rasta City area was inside the Muslim City area one of the guys said that they unalive Rasta's, you should've blurred his face because the Rasta's aka the 7's will take it serious on him, Things are different now and you should get into it

That’s nonsense. I grew up between trinidad and Brooklyn and I walk around Port of Spain and The Whole of trinidad freely by myself, even late at night. you just have to employ the same common sense you use in ny and you’ll be fine.
I don’t go to gang land, even though I have relatives there, and all how they invite me over I pass on it. You just have to avoid risky areas and you’ll be fine. trinidad is ok once you use your head, curb your tongue and open your eyes, you’ll be just fine.

Why didn't you ask for police escort but you went in these dangerous places and you were not shot at.those places you journey at is more dangerous than St Barbs, show the good places of laventille. I felt ashamed that only the bad places were shown. where the two big tanks are ,is call piction Road, that road takes you to the lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, picton road leads you to Laventille main Road. You could walk up laventille main Road from Port of Spain, whilst walking you see an under under ground spring on the left side of the road. You will not regret coming back, as I told you our Steel band orchestra is on that same Road.
