That day was something else! We normally would walk down by the Red House from school. And that day we were told to go home take transport and we just happen to go down Frederick Street. We get on the maxi and really see people looking agitated but only when we got home!

Is it the first time you are knowing about this? They signed an Amnesty document before they released the hostages, so not even the police could have arrested or detained them beyond 48-72hr period which is standard for questioning.

31 years overdue. If there was one who was completely delusonal in his thinking it was him believing that the interest of the people coincided with his. I squarely place the blame at his feet for arming the nations youth with deadly weapons that has the country in the state that it is in today when all that was needed was compassion and good guidance.

When the avenues for the people to take the democratic approach to show discontentment and rejection are manipulated and stifled, then the tide will be turned. A cup can only hold so much as per designed. Regretfully this event was a secular one. A people can only take so much for so long.
