Easy Recipe for Mocha buttercream | Coffee Buttercream

- [Ingredients] 1 tsp = 5 ml, 1 Tbsp = 15 ml, 1 cup = 240 ml
350 g(1.5 cup) unsalted butter(softened)
370 g (3 cups) powdered sugar (shifted) (icing sugar or confectioners sugar)
*There was a typo in the video. It's not 400 g but 370 g.
1 Tbsp (7 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
2 Tbsp (12 g) instant coffee powder instant coffee
90 ml hot water
1/4 tsp salt ( *Optional but recommended, If you use salted butter, skip it.)
1 tsp vanilla extract ( *Optional but recommended.)

So easy and to the point, thank you, im using same amount butter and only use 100gr icing sugar with same amount coffee & cocoa and 2tbsp milk, reduced liquid for coffee mixture to 3tbsp only because im use so less sugar, but still to sweet for me, will try 85gr sugar next time. Thanks!

Yes, you can freeze the butter cream. Bring the butter cream back to room temperature before using, and beat it again.

This recipe is for 2-3 layers of 7 inches. It is recommended to make at least twice the size of a 9-inch 2-3 layer cake.
Can I use just coffee powder or dust it have to be like the Coffee u use?
Use brewing coffee. And mixing the coffee powder at the end adds flavor and the grains can make the cream stand out.

@@arshi5637 In the case of granulated sugar (normal regular sugar), it is difficult to completely dissolve, so the sugar will be chewed in the cream. In my case, even though I used a grinder to grind granulated sugar, I had an experience of chewing the sugar.
I tried it but it was not smooth. There was lot of air bubbles looks like. It tasted good though. Any tips ?
It is recommended that you first beat the mixer fluffy enough at high speed and then whip it at low speed to remove the big bubbles.
Can i freeze it then use it another day?
It can be stored for about a month when frozen. Leave at room temperature before use and when cream is softened, beat back with a blender.

Understand that the answer is based on personal experience.
It has different properties such as butter cream and whipped cream.
And cream is sensitive to ambient temperature.
In my case :
For whipped cream, I use a mixture of animal cream (better flavor) and vegetable cream (more stable). I keep it as cold as I can, but if there's a problem, I sometimes add gelatin.
For butter cream, butter should be soft but not too smooth. I also adjust the amount of milk I add depending on the season.
Swiss meringue cream and so on I also feel difficult. So I make easy American cream.
It's best you find a way to fit your environment in your experience.
