Most enjoyable - thank you.👍 Can recall the Triang synchro-smoke where a piston drive off the top of the X04 motor worm puffed the smoke out - quite effective for its time!🙂
No offence meant, But an old (and much cheaper) model with Syncrosmoke and a 'chuf-chuf' sound in the tender seemed to me to be just as good? I'm not impressed...... Digital steam engine sound is really terribly monotonous, and the whistle doesn't sound any better.... Sorry, but for the cost, I must be honest ... I would like something a lot better? It runs smooth though, that's got to be a redeeming factor....
Nice model of Flying Scotsman, she runs well and her sounds are great too, especially the smokes coming out of course.

It wasn't bad given how many years ago that was
@@vcs00railway84 Quite agree!
This is one of the few I’ve seen with the smoke box door on properly
The smoke box door seems to be held on magnets similar to the black five. It should be easy to adjust
Gimme more.
I love it, but I worry that the damp steam will slowly destroy scenery and buildings made from card and plaster, etc.
@@Paulboy.W.H.R. dunno, I only run the locos a few times, but I know people have wondered if the steam will damage scenery
@@vcs00railway84 Thanks. I guess only time will tell. Cheers.
