Apologies to all, just realised the blunder at the start of the video. I had changed it, to reflect the content, but obviously not saved the change! 😢😢
Default in the app is to double send a 500mS pulse so firing a pair usually works. Channel 4 is the bogey as it is only 12volts but more amps to run a turntable. You can power the module via the track terminals, and also feed it DC or DCC, but if using DCC you can only control via a dcc controller not the app.
Hi , I’ve switched mine between my phone and iPad on a couple of occasions with no problem . I was told that the hm6010 would only run 4 point motors, but with 16 points to control that makes for a big outlay. So I’ll try to connect a couple of pairs on my layout tomorrow! I’m using Hornby’s surface mounted point motors on my layout.
Interesting - will try my iPhone again and see if that works. It may have been because the iPhone was in the proximity (doing the recording) and so it had established the connection hence the 6010 wasn't showing as available. But yes, do connect pairs - works perfectly well.
N scale pins usually work well for Hornby track as I understand. For Peco flexi track you would need first to drill pin holes. I tend to lightly glue track down now with PVA, which avoid the risk of my clod hands damaging the sleepers!
Hi Greg it’s me again when setting up the hm 6010 do the wires go red green black been looking on line but can’t find anything this is how I’m doing it but nothing seems to be happening if you could help would be appreciated

Glad you think so! Thanks again

Many thanks for this info Brat96th. Excellent clarifications.

You and Peachy competing now are you? 😜 nice quick summary
I told him that at this rate I’ll catch up with him just another 14 or 15 years!! 👍😆
I like this Greg! What points would you recommend that would work with HM6010 control?
Hi TaffsTT. In this case it’s Peco but I am sure it will work just as well with Hornby ones whether TT or OO. Thanks.
Yes thank you starting a bigger layout now. Do you use standard track pins for tt120 or are there smaller pins for it . Cheers

Sorry for the late reply - I've been away for a few weeks - have you go it sorted?
