- Akko Creamy Purple Pro Tactile Switch
- "Pro" Nylon blend stem
- PC Top Housing
- PA Nylon Bottom Housing
- 30 gf operating / 50gf bottom-out 21mm single-stage spring
- 55g tactile force
- 3mm total travel / 2mm pre travel
Akko sent me these to check out but made it clear that the review would be my own. I genuinely think the switches are an interesting and well executed design. Most of what’s in the video is simply opinion.

Thanks for the review. You´re the first one to review them so far and I was looking forward to hearing someone´s opinion on them. I have the Akko Cream Blue Pro´s on two on my boards and I really like them. I´ll be sure to get a set of these to try them out.
Thanks, I appreciate ya 😁
The only other Akko switches I’ve tried are the Cream Yellow Pros. They were actually my favorite switch for quite a while.
I think these are very well designed. Lmk how you end up liking them!
I've been pretty happy with the ocean blues, lavender purples and now the creamy blue pros but have been looking for something with more of a bump, this sounds right up my alley. I'll add these to the list of switches to try for a couple boards i'll be building soon.
@@nadtz niiice I hope you enjoy them!
@@keebscape Decided to give these and the MMD princess a try and also have some bsun hutt's sitting waiting for my Jris80 to arrive. Good times! Thanks again for the review.
@@nadtz glad you enjoy them!!
How is the bump compared to penguins? I am loving the feel of penguins and how silent it is.
My man
Def gonna give these a shot. I have another QK65 V 2 coming in the Lilac color and these will slap for color matching lol.
Siiiick. I’d highly recommend lubing these but I think they’re worth it. Standout switches for me
@@keebscape def will lube em’ !
akko are passed over by most in the community but i like em
Yeahhh they have had some good ones for sure. They’re inexpensive so I think a lot of people assume they’re poor quality, the reason though is Akko buys them from OEMs in such high quantities
Akko V3 cream black pros are my favourite switch so far,
Akko compared to other brands like gateron, ktt or etc.
They often tend to ship out terrible manufacturing.
It'd be lucky enough for you if you got an akko switch that can last a month or a year without it breaking.
Heard lots of stories of people owning akko switches having to replace them all the time.
As much as they sound good in some aspects, quality assurance of these switches sometimes isn't great.
@@Zliarx interestingly enough, Akko doesn’t manufacture their switches! They outsource to various OEMs. KTT has manufactured a bunch of Akko switches! I believe that these particular ones are manufactured by Outemu
For what it’s worth, I haven’t ever had a problem with the few sets that I’ve and this is the first I’m hearing about this lol
Waiting for hmx to make tactiles
How does this compare with the Cream Blues and the Lavender Purple Pro V3?
These have a bigger tactile bump, and they have a shorter travel distance. They also sound DEEPER than both the Cream Blues and Lavender Purple Pro V3s
@@keebscape Interesting, I am wondering should I pass on Cream Blues and go straight to these. Thinking of trying Cream Blues since they are so raved about though I am using Lavender Purple Pros.
@@jierenzheng7670 I liked these ones quite a bit. These have a bigger tactile bump compared to the Cream Blues (which I believe to have more of a subtle bump). On one hand you have smaller bump and slightly higher pitched clacks, and on the other you have a bigger tactile bump and a slightly deeper sound. They’re both great options!
@@keebscape Thanks, I'll probably go for the Creamy Purple Pros then!
A random question, if I am looking for linear Switches, would you pick the Akko Matcha Green Pro V3 or Gateron G Pro Yellow 3.0? I am wondering which feels best out of the box and more poppy.
@@jierenzheng7670 I can tell you having used both the cream blues and the lavender's the blues do have a bit more of a bump but these sound like what I've been wanting from Akko, something with a bump more like the bsun hutt's and a nice low actuation. The hutt's are really nice but I think they are sold out right now whereas Akko's stuff is easy to get.
are they comparable to MMD princess tactiles?
I am unsure, sorry. I’ve never tried the MMD Princess Tactiles
@@keebscape you want to give them and the CIY Asuras a whirl. Underrated honestly, the CIYs are quieter but both of them have very pronounce bumps.
How would you compare it to the Baby Kangaroos?
I unfortunately haven't tried the baby kangaroos
Need relube or nah?
I used them stock for a while, but I’d probably recommend relubing
something to rival the MMD princess?!
Maybe haha, I haven’t tried those!
MMD Princess tactiles are great.
@@SlickSpingo MMD Princess tactiles are indeed awesome so I it's suprising to me Akko basically made their own.
Obviously the formula varies per manufacturer but yeah. both have PC top housing and Nylon bottoms, only difference is stem material.
Both have P shaped bumps, both have about 3mm travel... and both aessthetically feel like MF princesses.
I'll have to wait for Akko to distribute these in my area, but damn I wanna compare them.
@@Valorhammer I literally commented how these compared to MMD Princess Tactiles cause holy shiet they're loud af
@@saladassery4640 they're louder than the princesses? oh boy can't wait to get my hands on these
