Without wasting a move, the 3rd move white should play should be Kb4. I wanted to point out another thing when the king marches up the f file. You can go out of the way if you want at a diagonal and march the king as far as h3 then back over to f5, and going straight up f is fine too, but there is a move where black can play to a draw. When playing 21. Kf4, black doesn't have to respond with Re4+, black can play f6xg5+ and Stockfish sees that as a draw. Capturing the rook would lead to a sooner mate, if white plays along with the draw, it's either by 3 fold repetition or i'm seeing Stockfish show exchanges until there's just the kings on the board. So that is something that should be pointed out. White should play 21. Kg4 so black can't check with f6xg5. The king will make it's way back over with Kf5, that is something important that I thought I should point out.

10:36 what if they pushed the b pawn instead to make a queen? That would've covered the g6 square

This is one of the best puzzles I've seen in a while. Stockfish actually knows what to do from the beginning but only says it's a win for white with 7.23 points. It's not an immediate mate so it doesn't see the mate from move 1. You demonstrated why capturing on b7 would move but when going back, it's OK to waste a move as long as it's a win, Kb6 is a wasted move. Immediate Kb4 is shorter. Where you said: This is like move 20, move 17 for black is Rxe2, move 18 for white is Re1, so you see how a move sets it back by 2 moves. You can have some fun with the white king up the board and move it as far as h3 then back over to f5 because those files aren't threatened, but it doesn't matter. After this, Stockfish is not as accurate as the solution, after the last pawn capture, it decoys the king too far down the board. But thanks for this puzzle. I'm still playing with it now. So far I checkmate on move 49 every time I play this puzzle.
At 31. KxRg8, Stockfish sees a mate. I could mate in 46 moves. After move 31, it's an endgame study to see what's the fastest way to mate, it's a win even if I go slower and save on my brain.

I am really glad you like it! I found it to be so incredible while I was reviewing it for the video. It’s also fascinating how the engine viewed it as moves were made. Thank you for watching! 🙂
