As a challenge to myself, i decided to make another 80's cartoon crossover featuring the Transformers, He-Man, GI Joe's Cobra Commander and others. The video was so much fun to make.

Some characters appear as a brief cameo, others have more scenes, see how many 80s cartoon characters you recognise. There were some characters that i wanted to have more screen time but sadly i had to cut some scenes due to copyright issues.

If this actually happened in the 80s, it would have been quite peak.
This didn't make any damn sense at all, and yet I find that I love it. Just seeing these all together. Like an animated version of children playing wit their toys from various franchises. Loved it!
When we can see this crossover again... please make a crossover of all of them..
I have worked on the opening scene of part 3 of my 80s crossover episodes.... however i may have a break before going further with it!
Voltron and Getter Robo needed more airtime in this movie. :)
Thanks for watching. I did a full scene with Voltron, when they all merged, with the Voltron musical score and it was fab, but sadly it got blocked for copyright... i kept trying less and less of the scene until all i got allowed was a one shot cameo!!!! Cheers for watching and commenting.

I deliberately left out the Superfriends as i didn't want Supermans powers to be an easy way out! I may well use the Superfriends in the next 80s Crossover episode. Also a few others i didnt use like Mighty Orbots and Godzilla may appear.

@@xavierwalko4175 I've always loved the 80s Godzilla cartoon and really wanted him to feature - i had a much longer scene but it got banned due to copyright, but i managed to squeeze in a little bit for my own satisfaction!

@@MattMeadowsDesigns ok. Understandable, Toho flags basically anything. For the next part, mix in more mecha anime like Mazinger (Tranzor) Z and Gundam. Maybe Season 3 of Transformers plus the many JP only anime series like you did for Galvatron? Maybe even Transformers Armada.

Thanks so much. At this point i don't have my next transformers project mapped out. The only other idea i have kicking around is a What If... Unicron arrived in a season 1 episode instead of the movie.... i wonder how the autobots and decepitcons, with their season 1 plot armour, would have finished off Unicron in a 20 minute episode!!!

@@MattMeadowsDesignsenjoyed watching your Transformers cartoon again. !! Thought of a few more of the old school ones for you: Sabre Rider, Thunderbirds 2086, insectors, inspector gadget, care bears (Bruticus could step on a few lol) and a few others that just aren't coming to mind now.

Some great ideas there for other characters.... i am putting the finishing touches to an 80s cartoon crossover Christmas Special so its good to have other characters to include! Although Inspector Gadget did appear briefly in the post credits sequence on the Universal War video, along with the Simpons' comic book guy "Worst Crossover Ever!. Thanks again for your continued support
This must have taken you a long time to put together...just finding scenes & dialogue from each show that would all fit together must have been a task in itself... 👍👍
Thanks for watching and commenting. If i knew what i need someone to say, i'd drive to and from work playing aloud the audio from relevant episodes listening out for just the right word, or phrase and hoping it would fit with the rest of the sentence i had created!
I finished this video atleast 3 times but then thought of another cool sequence with characters from a show i hadnt used, so id spend another few weeks adding new scenes! One such extra scene was 7 minutes long!!
It was definitely a very intense couple of months but to finally have the story i came up with come to life if very satisfying and worth every minute! Cheers
@@MattMeadowsDesigns well it deffo paid off as it all fits together so well..apart from the fantastic mash up, it was just a really great battle scene.
Funny seeing Robotech considering Skyfire toy came from Robotech serirs. That is why his character is controvesial.

For a next part, mix in Gundam. Mostly Zeta as it’s from the 80s, and Wing for 90s and 2000s kids to be represented. (Also maybe Transformers Armada and the other anime series)
Would have been a 10/10 if u had put in the girl robot who shot boob rockets.
Haha! Funnily enough I'm in production on another crossover at the moment, and Aphrodai A (aka. boob rocket bot) has already featured.
Matt Meadows you saved Transformer history, I am very grateful to you, still keep it up in 2024 in the new year and happy new year to you, here the director of Transformers The Movie can learn a lesson that he should not make the Autobots victims but to winners👍👍

I love this this is cool all my 80s cartoons coming together I would like to see one with just GI joes and transformers like cobra with decepticons GI joes with Autobots but this is cool too but it's too much though but I like
