I love Eddie when he's singing with other people, he has no ego. He never tries to sing over someone and even though he sounds great individually, his voice still always compliments whoever he's singing with. That so many other artists seem to enjoy singing with him just shows it's not a front, he really is a great guy.
Not even close...He has a great tone in his voice but hes nothing of an tenor which you would have to be to sing lets say alot of queen songs. Hes a lower baritone.
Saint Martins, I agree and he doesn't disappoint. I was lucky to see "Vote for Change" 2004(?) in NJ. It was an incredible show, many great artists performed. BRUCE was on stage and "this guy" just casually walked on stage. I turned to my cousin and said "OMG, it's Eddie Vedder!!!". My cousin was impressed that I not only recognized Eddie, but that I knew who Eddie Vetter was. His performance with BRUCE was as great as him performing with the Stones. Eddie showed such respect to BRUCE, as he did to the Stones, his idols. As I remember this, Eddie said "BRUCE is the boss, I am just the employee". Shows respect, no ego.

Wow! What a treat! Mick and Eddie singing together! My favorite rolling Stones song! It is a really emotional song for me! I dedicated this song a long time ago to someone that I loved! Jefrey Eugene Wilson he took his life on June 20th 2006! He was suffering from severe depression! And I'm sure the booze didn't help! Or the drugs! Anyway! Rest in peace my love! Lisa go check out Molly Hatchets version of this song here by the Stones. I love it! Love the voice and the accustic guitar.
Right? Love him, especially doing these old covers. Another two to check out would be Pearl Jam covering Pete Towsend's "Let My Move Open the Door" in 1995, and also Daltrey/Eddie singing together on "Getting in Tune" on The Who's 2003 Live at Royal Albert Hall show.
What an honor for Eddie to sing this classic ballad with the Stones...I truly loved this. God bless you guys.....so nice of you to invite other performers up on that stage with you. You are making happy memories for every person around and on the stage. Peace and love.
This show was such a treat from my dead godfather: Denny. He was one of their biggest fans. The ball park was new… Pearl Jam played in the rain before…
I love the resounding applause from the commenters about how touching it is to watch Eddie ( a king) be with other legends, likely he worshipped them at one time. I think what is so special is he demonstrates grace, vulnerability, and it makes him more of a man (IMO) than any macho kind of move ever would.
Eddie never fails to put shivers down my spine his voice is amazing and im glad i came across this one its up there with the best duets ive heard him sing 😁
Just watched this,Mick and Vedder, I cried. I'm almost 70, seen the stones 6 times in concert. Wild Horses my favorite song. It touched my soul. They must sing Paint it Black.
As soon as Eddie walks out chills as soon as he sings goosebumps!! Eddie has sang with so many incredible musicians, WOW what a awesome life he has had and still going. Thank you so very much for sharing this awesome video 😊💓🤘✌️
So, I love how Eddie is the one who initiates the hug near the end of the song. He's still a freshman, new to the scene, yet he feels right in the moment that he can step close to Mick, and it's a gesture that's returned genuinely. A special moment.
Hello Brenda Boegel, how are you doing today? I'm glad you're a fan, and It's my pleasure meeting you here. On a scale of 1 to 10, where would you rate this song, and can you say it's one of your favorite songs?
