Our day started with a ride on the Singapore Cable Car where we rode a Pikachu gondola all the way up to Mount Faber before going back down the the beautiful Sentosa Island.
From there, we headed to Gardens by the Bay, one of the most popular tourist attraction in whole of Singapore. We explored the flower dome, went all the way up to the Super Tree Observatory but the highlight was the cloud forest and the tallest indoor manmade waterfall. Such a beautiful and interesting place to visit. And let's not forget our quick lunch at Shake Shack!
Then we had to try a little travel hack we had heard before in regards to the famous Marina Bay Sands Hotel. Going up to the observation deck cost $32 per person where going one floors over the observation deck is FREE! well kind of. A few hours before heading to the Marina Bay, we got a reservation to Spago Lounge where the cheapest thing on the menu is only 8$ meaning that this is the price per person. Overall a great alternative but the views are not quite as good as the actual Marina Bay observation deck.
When you leave the Marina Bay Sands, you have the option of walking through the Marina Bay Link Mall and Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands and for just a few dollars, you can get the best croissant of all times at Bacha Coffee!
Another icon of Singapore is of course the Singapore Flyer. This is a 165 meters ferris wheel which offer the best views in the country according to us.
Finally, to end the night, we headed to Little India, more specifically Tekka Centre for some cheap but delicious butter chicken and naan.

The Cloud Forest waterfall is now the 2nd tallest artifical waterfall. The one at Jewel has taken over the number 1 place. 😅

Singapore can be affordable PROVIDED, as visitors and tourists, you're not confined by the typical tourist-y destinations for food, accommodations and others. For one thing, you need to open your minds and learn about the country. Yes, Singapore is expensive. Even as citizens, we fret that prices are not getting any lower but it's all about getting around.
You are 100% right. We stayed in Little India which was so much affordable and ate most of our meals at hawker centres.
Great Video! The other travel hack is to eat at Ce La Vi ($35 gift card entry fee) right next to the infinity pool at marina bay sands. So u spend the same money for the same great view but food/drinks are included!

There is always a budget way of travelling everywhere, even in SG. The food is cheap, public transport is cheap, you can walk to almost everywhere, many attractions are free. If you know how, you can save a lot.

Look old fashion but you will encounter some parks,schools,factory and barracks sort of.
The North also has the only natural hot spring in SG. It's a small park but pretty popular with locals. 🙂
