Each time I listen to Strickland I expected to hear a madman but instead hear quite a bit of Fulton Sheen. A quick search yielded this discussion, not a confirmation of my observation (perhaps a refutation) yet a discussion of the present from decades in the past. th-cam.com/video/WQA9nxUtIew/w-d-xo.html

There are also many Protestants who listen to the Word through Bishop Strickland.
There is no doubt that Bishop Strickland loves our Lord and Savior completely.
I know that "Protestant" is used as a slur in Catholic circles. But, the good Bishop's preaching the Gospels extends far beyond the reaches of secularism within Christianity. He is a unifier. And, we need unity among Christians right now.
It's a real shame to see a man who loves Our Lord and Our Lady so deeply be ripped away from is Holy vocation by ways of a corrupted administration.

Here is what I wrote elsewhere on another video -- equally applicable here:
The Pope clearly DOES NOT CARE what faithful Catholics want. NO amount of petitions or complaints will get him to "reverse" his decision. This was NOT a "quick kneejerk" decision/action by the Vatican in the first place. It was a calculated, deliberate effort masked by the pretext of a "visitation/inquiry/investigation."
That said, as predictable and troubling as this UNJUSTIFIED action is, it is not without grace, blessing, or benefit to the faithful. All of us can take solace in that truth.
[A] First, it brings COMPLETE CLARITY about "who stands where" ... no longer can the Pope "hide behind others" working/speaking for him, or disguise and pretend with his (in)famous doublespeak where he stands on the Church's 2.000 year-plus DEPOSIT OF FAITH (which his Nuncio to the U.S. denied existed!). The de-platforming action undertaken against Bishop Strickland would be justified to take against a heretic or someone willfully and obstinately rejecting Christ's TRUTH and our 2-millennium deposit of faith, but clearly NOT against a good and faithful priest-bishop such as Bishop Strickland !!!!!!
[B] Second, it unites us even closer with Christ our LORD and with MARTYR Bishop Strickland in suffering. This is not "all bad" because we need to embrace suffering and take up our own crosses ... for none of us can attain our own personal Easters without first accepting and suffering our own Good Fridays -- literal or metaphorical.
[C] Third, armed with the knowledge and perspective discussed in [A] and [B] above, faithful Catholics now have a clear mission choice defined for us: for every Bishop Strickland oppressed and "removed," a thousand courageous voices proclaiming TRUTH should spring up. The Pope may be able to use and abuse his temporal power, BUT he can't shut down, silence, or "cancel" ETERNAL TRUTH ... nor can he outlive everyone !!!! Remember, "even the gates of Hell shall not prevail" against Christ's Church. This is OUR TIME to FIGHT FOR TRUTH and FIGHT FOR OUR FAITH. Saddle up !!!

A really poor analogy at the start of this blog, in self justification?
Come on man, the focus should have been in his gentleness, in Bishop Strickland’s Christlike virtues of humility, prayer life and charity. Ironically, especially in his extolling the need for prayers for Pope Francis and in his active participation in that prayer, he inadvertently makes the Pope look like the despot this type of action is normally associated with. I therefore agree, Pope Francis has indeed exposed himself, at best as a tyrant, operating outwith the Spirit of Vatican II and ultimately as an unjust, unholy example of objection to the Holy Spirit inspired deposit of faith.

Thank you for a Christ honoring report with historical analysis. As a bystander Christian (non RC) I marvel at the activity going on in actions such as those effecting Tyler Diocese. Much learning is in order for a bystander or even a loyal parishioner to grasp the importance of these events. Ecclesiastical law is not exercised with the frequency or easy dismissal of our local civil courts and the results of Church law are far more important than the civil matters. Our Lord Jesus Christ can only be honored when we face crisis like this with scripture, honestly and above all prayer.
My grasp of the situation is that Bishop Strickland will not engage any grandstanding or self serving invectives, rather he will continue to hold fast to scripture and to show consideration for the laity that has been placed in his charge.

I think this was overall a good thing because it has to come to this point eventually where good bishops are finally speaking out and willing to get persecuted. Until the recent couple of years there was nobody speaking out and that's what allowed the cancer to continue. Now that good clergy are speaking out, that's the first step in the correction process. I'm not giving Strickland a free pass to say whatever or even saying this was Unjust, but just getting people talking is what matters. Inspire bishops to boldness rather than lukewarm status quo. Most of the bad behavior that has gone on so long is simply because the bad guys knew nobody would speak up and call them out. But once bad behavior is exposed it's a lot harder to keep it going.

What is the difference between this actions of Francis and that of an atheist, what is the difference between what king Herod did to the innocent children after our Lord Jesus Christ was born. This is not about making the church better but rather to eliminate those who hold in their hands the burning torch of the truth. How can we believe that Francis is leaning on Jesus Christ for the plans to lead the church to the eternal feast but again faithful Catholics pick up your Rosaries for we are at war and this not the time to play mental laziness to the prayers of your Rosaries.

from Blessed Mother to Pedro Regis on 11/7/2023: "Dear children, you are heading towards a future of great spiritual confusion. Those who love and defend the truth will be persecuted and thrown out. The enemies will unite and revenge will come from the throne. I suffer because of what is coming for the righteous. Do not be discouraged. My Jesus is with you. Fearlessly proclaim the Gospel of my Jesus and the teachings of the true Magisterium of His Church. The quagmire of false doctrines will spread, but the truth will win. God’s Victory will come for His Church. Do not retreat! The silence of the righteous strengthens the enemies of God. Go forward along the path that I have shown you! Do not depart from prayer and the Eucharist. This is the message that I give you today in the name of the Most Holy Trinity."

Clearly the Church has failed not only in teaching what the Real Presence in the sacrament of the Eucharist if only 40% of Catholics understand that true meaning. Equally true seems to be that the understanding of what the Magisterium means in the overall structure in the Church is also flawed.
When is it permissible for the laity to challenge the Magisterium in such devious and divisive ways? Sure one can question things, but you cross a line when you are more informed than the Magisterium.
We have to remind ourselves that Christ taught us with his very life the lesson of humility. Seems like arrogance is more prevelant now.

What are you saying? Francis is not above the law of “ God” ! You need to hear the Protestants having field day on our church . Remember there is a church on every corner .

    As a man who runs around claiming Apostle-Rank, you know, Pope-Tier;
(Dont get on me, I know what happens if I'm lying)
If I ever get so out of line that I start swinging my authority like a sledgehammer and changing scriptural doctrine just freaking thump me?
One swift knock to the lower back of the skull right where spine meets brain. Just drop me, I'll probably survive. Now lock me in a room and forget about me until the Lord let's me out. He's got some words for me and I'm not gonna hear them unless I'm half-starved and begging for it.
I don't even use the rank unless it's dire and I need Angelic Back-Up. Let alone political maneuvering. But, I reckon this is why the mantle was hidden for one and a half plus thousand years.
Its a stupid amount of authority to give a man and not except corruption. In the old days, our leaders never stopped moving. They never sat long enough to want or need personal gains in individuals. They were too busy dealing with entire church structures each with subtle variations to suit different traditions.
The papacy is a roman conquest, its what Roman's do. Not nessecarily bad, very strong and efficient. But there's long term drawbacks which both Orthodoxy and Protestants tried to avoid with various levels of success.
You're seeing those drawbacks in real time. This is sort of old hat behavior for the Vatican at this point. You've got a shadow government running your surface government. We aren't supposed to be a theology. We're a faith with strong theological through-currents. 😇

He supported sedevacantism and heresy. He listened to Fad Trads on youtube. He supports the idea that Pope Francis usuroed the papacy. This was deserved.
