Tiger Heli eu tinha esse jogo, veio junto com meu Videogame Turbo Game o clone do NES no Brasil Tiger Heli I had this game, it came with my Turbo Game Video Game, the NES clone in Brazil
Aside from SMB/Duck Hunt this was the second game in my library I got for Christmas of '89. This was the first game that made me want to throw my controller and it still does. Either way, I love this game.
Brian Kiel I loved this game an the sound track! I'd throw my controller especially when they'd shoot my little helis'! Or I'd be further than I ever been an close to a base then get shot, that an the game didn't save!
When I was a kid a cousin of mine told me there was a final stage if you looped the game a certain absurd number of times and OF COURSE I believed. It made me play this for so long, I'm not even mad
shoot the crap outta the first RIGHT RED ROUND ROOF on the building,in the very beginning of the game, right after the train tracks, start spamming fire on the right side of the screen before it begins to appear, then it will light up with 10,000 points and ring a bonus sound
Tiger Heli eu tinha esse jogo, veio junto com meu Videogame Turbo Game o clone do NES no Brasil Tiger Heli I had this game, it came with my Turbo Game Video Game, the NES clone in Brazil
This game is so underrated and if it were to be revived for the Nintendo Switch, I'd play it in a heartbeat. This was one of my favorite games as a kid, playing it on the weekends for hours.
+JenkPac Shakur Oh that's awesome :) I hope you like it! And the top loaders are great for not getting blinking screens if you don't want to replace the connector on the older models!
***** HDMI, huh? Does the encoder manage to get rid of the interference in the picture? I love my top loader, but I replaced the 72pin on one of my toasters to use it instead because it had a clearer picture due to better shielding, and because the composite output looks quite a bit clearer than the RF signal does. Those vertical lines annoyed me enough to switch back. With a well-made aftermarket 72pin, the original NES can just as reliably read the carts as the top loader can I've found, and are less likely to wear as badly because of the improved quality of the replacement part.
+JenkPac Shakur Oh I know exactly what you're talking about, I just didn't know what it's name was, I add about this quite some time ago while it was being worked on :) I'll have to check them out, maybe I'll mod one of my (few remaining) virgin decks. One amazing enhancement that's super easy (I'm awful with a soldering iron and did it with no problem) is enabling the sound expansion support so games running VRC6 and the like play like they would on Famicom. Iirc I just bridged the two particular contacts with a capacitor, and then attached a dial to adjust the expansion audio mixing volume. It's really worthwhile if you play imports with a convertor or flash cart.
My brother and our friend used to play mario, batman and megaman...but this was my fav game. When i got my turn i always put it in...still fly choppers now in GTA and plabes in War Thunder
*that VERY beginning jingle after you start the game has stayed stuck in my head for over 30 years! ive been to 2 mental hospitals over it screaming "MAKE IT STOP!!" in a strayed jacket shivering in a corner or a padded room a few times; because of that jingle at the very beginning of the game.*
My dad allowed me to pick out a game at a local store for my birthday which was very rare, and I chose this one... Felt so sad for asking my dad to buy this game once I started playing, full retail price for a game was not worth the gameplay you got out of this. Learned to rent first or go by word of mouth after that. Oh to be 6 years old again.
I remember trying to play this game on my best friend's nes. I couldn't even finish the first stage! didn't know how to continue (hold a+b at gameover screen). Now I see it was an infinite loop, like so many other classic era games. I can get a lot farther now... ;) the NES is a good conversion, but the arcade still is fresher (and harder!). the music really makes it what it is. my favorite helicopter game of that era is Twin Eagle (arcade original - sadly NES doesn't come close to the excitement of that game!).
As a kid this is the only one game I had for years when I first got it in the late 80’s when I was 10,11. Never beat it though. It was very difficult. But I liked it, not like I had a choice. Now I’d probably rip through it in one sitting .. I should do that, just for get back. 😎 One day, maybe ..
I know I am posted but you have to be playing on an emulator here. I know Tiger-Heli has slowdown and flicker issues but nowhere near as bad as what I see here. You can't even see the shots from the tank bosses because the flicker blinks it all out of existence. Crazy.
At 17:20 that turned vicious! I think that's close to as far as I made it! Today's "Bullet Hell Shooter" players might find this classic a challenge (in a different, but fair say).
Primeiro jogo de console que joguei na vida, me lembro ate hoje, com 6 anos de idade, pegando o controle na mão, ligando a tv de tubo, e minha vida nunca mais foi a mesma...
Dear Nintendo, I enjoyed playing this game at a cousin's house BEFORE I even got a Nintendo Entertainment System. I think you should consider releasing this to the NES - Nintendo Switch Online service with TATSUJIN credited as the publisher.
They'd likely release the arcade version, though I forget which company, probably M2, who would probably release both the arcade, and NES version in some sort of mini compilation.
I’m 15, games the shit out of this at my uncles house, problem was I was about 7. Then a tornado hit the town and they moved the arcade machine to storage. It still works but I wanna play it again before I’m 18.
this game was amazing.. wanna know something.. why does the red chopper shoot right.. and why does the left chopper stay until destroyed? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Left-right_political_spectrum Tiger Heli Soviet Strike Nuclear Strike all the strikes.. and other helicopter games.

When I was a kid a cousin of mine told me there was a final stage if you looped the game a certain absurd number of times and OF COURSE I believed. It made me play this for so long, I'm not even mad
The music in this game is exhausting I must say.
Even after all of these decides i like it?

They need 2 release this on the switch. Like now Nintendo.
I remember always being torn over picking up the little heli and having more firepower, or not picking it up so the regular song keeps playing lol
Ikr lol the music is great!
This game made me fall asleep twice.
Love me some tiger heli! Pew pew pew! And the music was great!😎🤘🏻

Bro this game was worth every penny
Bet you had a lot of fun
So that's the name of that game! I have been wondering that for years.
What are the red squares that you can shoot?
Loved these easy aracde games. Gjetting upgrades as you go. Need more games like this❤
The music is good. If I get married I'm going to play it over and over at my wedding dance. Replay it all night.
Even when you consummate the marriage?
The terror of Tiger Heli, leaving a trail of puckered buttholes in its wake.
why did you give up at the end and let the boss just keep killing you?
Quando criança procurei pra jogar. Nunca mais encontrei.😓
Me sinto nostálgico
Tiger-Heli veio junto com meu Videogame Turbo-Game na época, passava várias horas jogando esse clássico
Good times.

I know you have come to see the ending of this game. But this game never ends until you force it to zero lives.
oh! wow ! really !
Bridges will burn
um dos melhores jogos do NES
Here just to listen to that 🔥 track. I always thought the circles under everything you blew up looked like Samoa girl scout cookies.
Does this game have a ending?
Is the chopiness on the the top of the screen part of the game or just from the emulator?
It's been 3 decades since I played this game
