, Tyler needs more credit for what he does. He’s helped me so much and I’m so thankful. Let’s give this man the credit he deserves.
Very true Avery Cannon. I'm still in pursuit of my very 1st LMB and TFR is going to get me there. I'm sure of it. And he's such a good guy. How can you not love the channel?!
So true
True that.
100% agree he makes amazing videos and had truly helped me become a better angler
definitely, same here
I like how he’s one of the only guys who actually goes back to help out the bank boizzz!!
Debo's Fishing does primarily bank fishing tips and videos. He has some really great videos as well!
@@chrisrus53 can back this one up.
This video is probably the most informative video about pond fishing that I have ever seen!! Thanks Tyler this will help me break down the ponds by me! Keep this amazing content coming!!
Agreed!
Man, thanks so much!
I love it when Tyler post's. I was just thinking about the Pre-Spawn and boom a video of Pre-Spawn.
Let’s go 💪🏼
One of the best pond tutorials i ever watched on ponds.thanks
Awesome!
PB pond largemouth is 6.2lbs from this past summer. Caught it on a pearl white Strike King KVD caffeine shad (fluke). This is the perfect video I need since I fish 95% pond banks.
How does he not get more views, best fishing channel on TH-cam
It will come with time! I’m just starting to scratch the surface, trust me
My PB pond bass is the one that I’m holding In my profile picture. It weighed 7lbs even. Caught it on a 3/8oz Strike King green pumpkin jig with a green pumpkin Strike King baby menace as a trailer.
Your intro is 🔥🔥🔥 bro!!
The ice down there was nuts
I live in Western NY about 15 miles from Lake Ontario. Generally for a quick couple hours of fishing I head to the Erie Canal which runs through my town. All rock, sand and gravel with a few "lake/pond" areas from time to time. Those are old turn around spots for boats. It's great for small mouth. Last Summer I caught my PB largemouth in a small roadside field pond that was no more than 50 yards across in any direction. I hooked up on a 4.4lbs Largemouth with a white single prop no clacker buzzbait.
Last year was my first time fishing in nearly a decade, and I decided to start with bass. Your videos have been super helpful in allowing me to catch more fish last year than I had at another point in my life combined. Currently waiting for water temps to come up a little more before getting back at it this year. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and taking the time to make these dedicated bank and pond fishing videos. Though I hope to be into a boat before the end of this year.
If you ever get the chance I would encourage you to make a trip to NY and check out either the Finger Lake or Lake Erie or make the trek up to the St. Lawrence River for some great smallmouth fishing. The fight is a lot of fun with them.
Man, thank you so much for the encouraging words! I do have to inform you though, I have been to New York several times now and have all of the videos on my channel! What is your email so I can send you all of the links? It’s a beautiful area and I go every year
Hey Tyler,
I moved to Austin 7 years ago and have always wanted to learn how to bass fish. I finally got a pole and started fishing a month ago. I have been watching a lot of your videos and I just want to say Thank You. I used your tips from colors to techniques. I have a lot of practice to do but I caught my first bass last weekend and 1 of the 3 I caught was a 5 pounder. It was amazing. Just wanted to drop you a Thank You and let you know you are helping people. I am hooked.
Thanks for watching Ben!
Just caught my PB pond bass this morning. 4 lbs 1 oz. I love your videos Tyler. I've learned so much and I'm catching so many more fish than before. Thanks!
That’s what I’m talking about!! So glad to hear that you are finding success
Appreciate this video and my pb pond bass is 8 pounds top water frog
Tyler, I appreciate the content focus on pond fishing as thats what I have access to! I dont fish lakes, dont tournament fish, I got a little 1 acre pond that kicks my ass more often that not, so your content helps me reevaluate what it is im doing when im out there. Thanks
Great information! Bass fishing been very tough due to the winter storm we had in TX. Massive tilipia kills in every pond I went to. Go to bait for early spring is Chatter bait or lipless crank baits are my choice. PB pond bass is 4 pounds
Very educational today!
I personally loved the visuals in this, Tyler. Thanks!
Thank you for all the great information and the demonstration and presentation of everything you use....always appreciated
Of course!
Pond pb is 6lbs 10oz and this was nice to watch while cleaning my reels
I’m so ready to start off my 2021 fishing season! Thanks for the great pond tips Tyler!
Heck yeah!!
I’m really glad I found this channel, I really like the content. I think I have caught a 5lber out of a pond didn’t have scale but it was a big fish on a spinnerbait of course thought I got hung up on a log but turned out to be a big fish.
It's so strong you feel like it's not even moving and you think it's a stupid log but then you freak out when you realize it's a huge fish. Best feeling ever
I love how your informational videos have the sections on.
Yessir!
This was a great video for me to learn as someone newer to fishing. Thank you and please keep the content coming!
Heck yeah!
You are a TRUE teacher!! I really appreciate your videos so much!! I learn something from every video I watch.
Thanks Crason!!
Thanks for helping us bank anglers fishing in ponds. Great instruction.
Of course! Thanks for watching👍🏼
Thanks really glad your on the bank for is pond guys. I had a 6.2 back October. I'm on a pond with giants, seen alot last year easily over 8. I've beat the banks down but can't get one
Tons of bank content coming this spring!
I was in Mexico for 3 weeks, just got back. And it only got slightly cool there for a couple of days. Other than that, it was hot. Maybe because I was in a desert valley 😂
And I fished the day I got back and I caught 5 bass, a crappie and a big bullhead! I used a jerkbait the way you taught(so thanks) and cut bait for thw bullhead.
Just started seeing your channel recently, been catching up and watching alot of the old videos, great stuff!
Great video Tyler. Very informative
Thank you!
Great video, bud 🤙. Highly informative.
My PB pond bass is 7.5 lbs.
Keep giving the knowledge
Always!
thanks for the help!!!
you should do how to fish every crankbait
He already has one up I think
Yep! Here’s the link: th-cam.com/video/DU_KX7Vvg9Y/w-d-xo.html

Easily the most informative fishing video of 2021!
This video has so much good information!
I’m glad you learned it!
Great INFORMATIVE VIDEO, I'm all about not wasting my time when fishing!
And I’m all about not wasting your time too!
I love when you say lets talk about it
Sup Tyler thanks for always posting fire vids
thanks bro!
It’s the energy for me! Great video boss😎
Thanks homie!
Appreciate the tips 🔥💯🙏
Of course!
Thx for the tips
Of course!
I'm about to slam em this weekend on a private pond I'm super hype. It's definitely the best time of year to juice up the content
Thanks bro. Keep grinding!
I'm gearing up to fish my first tournament next month. I'm going to upload my whole journey!!
Awesome! Good luck!
Awesome job Tyler keep up the good work! My pond PB is 5.5 lbs
I forgot to ask a question, are bass line shy around this time? If they are how light can I go on my line?
@@superphishal5724 I always run leaders 8-12lb flouro or mono depending on the purpose. I've pulled 5lb bass out of lily pads and weeds, on a frog, with 20lb braid and a 10lb mono leader. Personally I don't see the need for 50lb line
Great video
Great video brother. Killed it
Thank you kind sir!
6.5 pounds caught it yesterday. I’m in Georgia
Awesome content as always.
Thank you scot!
I just got a kast king crisis, can’t wait to fish with it
Pb pond bass is also my pb bass she was a 5 pounder in a cemetery pond on a power pack bait (top water) which is no longer made the lure looked like a kids bathtub toy with treble hooks on it
That’s wild!
6.2 lb in October. My 3.5 acre “pond” in my backyard. Let me know if you make it to central IL. You’re always welcome
Great video as always! My PB pond bass is 7.9 that I caught last year. Caught.multiple in the 4 to 7 pound range. If you ever make a trip to GA let me know. You have to fish the 22 acre private pond with me and my buddy. There are double digit bass in it and my buddy caught a 9 pounder last year! Hoping to catch a DD bass this year!
Btw I caught my PB after watching your drop shot video and love fishing a drop shot now! I had never tried it before I saw that video
Also quick question..the pond I mentioned above the entire bottom is just mud...would that mean most of the spawning would be in/near the grass?
Awesome!!
It would be at the base of the wood, and any grass that’s there. There wasn’t a whole lot of grass though
Glad to see some love for the pond fishermen...it's been a while. #TRF
Gonna be around the bank all spring!
I got a four pounder at the beginning of the year and a two pounder yesterday
This literally is the only intro i don't skip
I live north so that storm was normal😂
Nashville, Indiana PB 7.12 Lbs just last week, 3/8 Strike King football jig green pumpkin w/green pumpkin rage craw
Nice!
Urban trout fishing!!!
6.1 lb PB last summer on top water..looking to beat that when it warms up here in NC, love the content
Where in NC bro? 9.6 was my biggest here in NC last summer.
@@bassingthrough Raleigh, NC..good ole golf course pond. Gonna start making some videos there when it warms up
@@bradduncan161 nice bro not to far from you. I'm Close to jordan lake. Let me know if you ever in the area.
Both of my PB's first and second are both pond bass. not big at all maybe 7 ft deep. the biggest was a 4.9 lb.
Pb pond bass 9.56 lbs on a black and blue 1/2 oz jig off a bed in march
Nice!!
The fish you caught in this video could eat my PB. 😭
10lb 4oz Lucama North Carolina
My personal best bass I a 8-9 ponder. I was trying to catch crappie at a small neighbors find and I had a crappie on by some cat tales. Then a bass came out from them and smoked it so I let it eat it and reel it in.
Can you do a vid on the damici rig?
Great pond tips. Can’t wait til he ice melts on my local pond
Cool!!!👽👍
My pb pond bass is my pb Wich is 5 pounds 13 ounces (caught in massachusetts)
I'm not too far from Eufaula myself I live right next to texoma! Maybe I'll see you on the water sometime!
I was talkin bout the Eufaula in Alabama! But I like the one in Oklahoma too haha! I’m on Texoma all the time since I live in north Texas
Well dang I hope I can catch ya on the water sometime! Just got out of the army and starting from scratch all my rods and tackle were stolen and sold the boat lol.
@@chanceprice5376 thank you for your service
I caught two 4.5s last year. Don’t have giants in the ponds I fish
Caught a 6 pounder on a pop-R in a pond
Tyler on tackle warehouse they have a black and red thunder cricket called Black Widow. Also how’s Alabama treating ya?
Yeah but I want more red than that! It was great!
Love your videos. Can you make a video of a review of the new Garmin cast-able sonar
Hmm that might not be a bad idea
Do you have any more tournaments coming up soon my pb pond bass is 4 pounds caught in Wisconsin
Can you make a video, if you haven't already, on fishing an extremely mossy pond? We have one that has moss on the bottom and top and I'm tired of cleaning the lure after every cast.
th-cam.com/video/N2Ma0sM0g2M/w-d-xo.html
@@TylersReelFishing you really have made videos about everything! Thank you!
my PB pond bass is 4 1/2 LBs on a black and blue chatterbait
Nice!
I'd like to know what craw trailer you were using on the chatter bait?
I have it linked in the video description as always!
And all we got in NC was about 4 feet of extra water... at least we coulda played in the snow...
You should make a video on an a rig I have seen any people use them but I don’t know how to
I have: th-cam.com/video/Z11nmgWoaSg/w-d-xo.html
Yes that helps a lot
Good quality information, that's why I like your channel. My biggest is from the Small Lake category, 5lb 9oz on a top water frog!
Hey Tyler. I caught 5 bass on March 25 this year in Southern Ohio. 4 of the 5 had what looked like bloody gums and red throats. Is this a sign of spawning or is some health problem? (One had blood on tail fins.)
The tail fin is more than likely bedding activity. The other two could just be what they are eating and how it’s affecting their mouth.
My pb pond bass weighed 5.32.
Fished all day yesterday . Probably walked a total of 10 miles , maybe even more. Didn't catch a single fish but I got a bite from what I'm pretty sure was a turtle. (Luckily he missed) I think I'm gonna take another little break till it warms up more. This shit is starting to get annoying not catching anything. I've been grinding for months and haven't caught a single fish.
Keep grinding!
how do you like that kvd combo? maybe a review for it ;D
Got one coming soon probably! Love the reels so far
Yall better hit subscribe. This dude really knows his sh*t. I know I did and Im not disappointed.
I appreciate it!
@@TylersReelFishing 😊
Would you say there are any major differences (other than timing) between Northern Bass and southern bass?
It’s less about the strain of fish, and more about the cover and types of lakes. Neither strain largemouth usually live shallower, but that could be cause there is less deep structure in northern lakes.
@@TylersReelFishing Thats interesting, I have never fished for bass down south so was curious
I fish a pond where the entire thing is Lilly pads in the summer. There’s is still a ton of pads right now but I’m wondering where will they go in pre spawn there? There’s some logs in the water but most of the pond is a muddy not hard bottom
They are going to go to the lily pads that are on harder bottom, closest to the deep water
Thanks 👍🏼👍🏼
My PB pond bass is 5 pounds
Love your intro music. What is the name the music?
i caught a 6.5 lb monster out of a private pond, that i skun into
Noice!
All the fish on my city lake died from the freeze didn't see no bass floating tho but the crappies and tilapia did over 100 fish sad scene
Oh wow, that’s sad
we do be early 🚀
What happened at the tournament?
It’s on my channel!
Can 5-15 inch bass die from the winter in colorado
Probably not. They will just go deep
if you could only use one rod/reel; what would you use?
7’ or 7’3” Medium heavy rod. Either a lews classic or abu Garcia silver max bait caster for reel.
Nah get a slx
@@jackfitzgerald3759 yeah but I was saying just cuz he said one rod so I thought of budget reels I liked
7' med-heavy fast with a 7:1 reel
how does he only have 191k i always thought he had more
Just gotta keep doin what I’m doin and we will grow faster!
You haven’t made a video about BLADE BAITS
Cause I don’t throw them ever haha
@@TylersReelFishing best small mouth and walleye lure in the game!
