Hey Tyler!! Thank you so much for that Jig you rigged up for me! About 40 minutes after you talked to us we both caught a nice bass each, about a 2-3 pounder. Felt great man and God Bless you for helping us out! Still have the jig you gave me and have caught many more since then! Really an incredible man you are.

I’ve always considered myself pretty knowledgeable, but once I started watching your videos about a year ago, you’ve really helped step my game up. My son goes to sleep watching your videos too lol. Final update: this little reel is the little engine that could th-cam.com/users/postUgkxSlytCJqozTF7EbdP4LWP-HUXf9WRDJ0e . It performed flawlessly and was easy to adjust drag in the moment while I was battling a 35lb bat ray behemoth. Mind you, this reel is spooled with only 25 lb braid and 25 mono topshot. It's paired with the kastking telescopic heavy power rod and the two work well together. This has now earned my respect and confidence when traveling and fishing. If you have ever hooked into large rays and sharks, you know they pull extremely hard and can run forever! This thing clamped down on the fish and was easy to adjust during the fight. It has a nice decently fast retrieve as well. Twice the fish went on mad runs and I was able to gain back line quickly to avoid spooling.

One of my favorite thing about fishing is how nice a lot of the people are. I was fishing near someone and when they left, they offered their bait and told me they didn’t want it to go to waste and then we talked about what we were using and he told what he was using and having no luck. It’s very small but nice interactions between people and I share my lures with my friends all the time.

Hey Tyler. I just started fishing last year and your videos have been helping me learn a heck of a lot. I live in California and most of the places I go fishing, the bass are pretty stingy of late. Been tearing up my favorite pond in the woods with a chatter bait, but it seems like the fish are wising up to it. As such, I want to start throwing a jig their way and seeing how that goes. Appreciate your videos because I don't really have anyone else to teach me this stuff. Ever find yourself in Sacramento I know a neat pond that you'd enjoy fishing, if they're biting that is! Thanks for the info!

man I have learned so much from your videos from chatter baits to worms to frogs to crank baits and even jerk baits and this videos was just extra cool i can't afford to get a long heavy power rod all i have is a couple of medium heavy rod witch all my medium heavy power rods are lew's rod but i'll try my best to get fish out of heavy grass with a medium heavy rod it's a fast action so it doesn't give a lot so it will work fine for jigs but is there any chance you could make a jig video for anglers with only medium heavy power rods??????? if not i will still continue to learn from you but a video about using a jig on medium heavy power rods would be amazing

I caught some with my livescope with an a-rig last weekend. Helped me win a two day classic. I would pan around and see the fish suspended above or beside the grass and just bring it by them and BAM FISH ON!!!
