Hi Jemma, thanks for this video as I have just bought this Orskey S800 for my wife's car, my son- in- law a good Seaham lad, has one fitted in his car and he is very happy with it. I had the Nextbase 322GW fitted to my current vehicle when purchased and hardwired by the dealer. The Nextbase App to view content on my phone is very bad. Cheers.
I'm wondering if parking mode and motion detection are the same thing. Have you enabled one or both of them? I am thinking just to enable motion detection as I will be connecting to the cigarette lighter and I don't want to waste too much battery.
Hi jemma, you can still use the rear camera without attaching to the reversing light. As they are both record front and rear at the same time you can view the footage of the rear camera on its own should you get a prang from the rear. When you wire it to the reversing light the dash came shows the rear camera on the screen only. Regards joe
I didn't realize that at the time of filming, the way the instructions read I thought you had to do both for it to work. My auntie is happy without it for now but I've said if she wants I can fit it for her. Thanks for the comment though I appreciate it.
good video and great explanation, I wish there were more videos of truly wireless front and rear dashcams ...no cables , no wires, just plug the wireless dashcam with phone's bluetooth
@@jemmawalker8675 just curious, do you know of any truly wireless front and rear dashcams ...no cables , no wires, just plug the wireless dashcam with phone's bluetooth ? go pro is too expensive... the idea in my mind is not to meddle too much with hardwiring, no plugging cables here and there (coz i worry I'd mess up the battery or internal systems in my car), and if possible connect the dashcam with bluetooth rather than wifi...the nextbase and garmin mini2 look promising, but I wonder if they are 'truly wireless and cableless'
I have had this dash cam for 2 years but have only just got around to installing it. Does it continuously record automatically? And how long does the recording stay on memory card?
Thanks for this video. Just ordered Orskey S800. Your video will be really handy for a first timer like me. 🙂🙂
I'm glad you found the video helpful.

Well done you .hope your confidence has grown thanks for your clip .
You don’t need to tap into the reverse light. That’s only if you intend on using the camera as reversing camera
Thanks for this. I didn't realise that, when I read the instructions it read like that's the only way to use it.
Thank you! Going to install my cam now.
Thank you Jemma!
Hi I have just set mine up and it records for 3 minutes then starts again is this right ?
Good video. Thanks. Was a real help.
Glad it helped

Hi thank you for your videos they are so helpful as with this cam is it easy to get the footage from camera to iPad or phone’s ❤
Thanks Jemma - very useful.
I have that to I got it for Christmas
How’s the cam working today.
Still working perfectly fine, no issues at all
How do you charge it? Manual says charge before use.
I just plugged it in when I first set it up. I didn't charge it before

Will it just work on USB or do you need the cigarette lighter cable
I believe it would need to be the cigarette lighter cable. But I'm not 100% sure on this
@@jemmawalker8675 thanks
Would you know if theres a way to view video on phone?
I don't believe there is sorry. I think you have to remove the sd card and use a device to view it on.

Yes I would prefer one of them for my vxr just to make it cleaner. But thanks for the feedback on the video.

Could i face this inward for the purpose of ubering? Would it work? Would really appreciate your reply but no worries!
I don't see why not, it rotates so should be fine facing inwards. How this helps.
It's probably not designed for such close filming, mate. I would imagine there are cameras specially designed for cabbies and Uber drivers' security.
Hi, does it come with an SD card as standard, thanks
No it doesn't you have to buy one separately.
Thanks helpful video
