His downfall at Tennessee all had to do with Kevin Mawae being forced to retire after the 2009 season. Because he was the president of the NFL Players Association. He and Ahmad Hall contributed alot to how good the running game was at Tennessee. Eugene Amano who is a guard, was converted to a center where he did absolutely horrible at. The fact that Johnson was even able to get 1300 yards , better yet 1k til 2013 says how special he was. That O line was absolutely atrocious. He was also robbed of breaking Dickerson's record , Johnson ran for a 60+ yard TD during the 3rd quarter that was called back for a foul that never took place. If that counted. He would have beaten Dickerson's record quite easily as the titans would have been ahead comfortably in the 4th.
Jeff Fisher did everything he could to ruin his career just like he did Vince Young and Goff. The fact that he ran for that many yards with Jeff "8-8" Fisher as his coach should give him an automatic HOF consideration period.
Running style maybe but Kamara is a way better receiver and runs with a more balanced style between elusiveness and power with balance playing a huge part of it.
As a Titans fan who watched CJ his entire career it was absolutely amazing to hold your breath literally EVERY TIME he touched the ball with the possibility of breaking one.
Cj did it mostly in big increments, most of Derrick Henry’s carries were 3/4 yards. Equally impressive I think a defense is probably more scared of Derrick Henry than Chris Johnson but thats not knock on cj2k

@@rockstar34960 yeah that's a good point that I've also thought about, but man, considering how long his scrimmage yards record stood, his amazing touchdown runs, 2,000 yard season, and the fact that he played for a bad franchise all should account for stronger consideration.

Holy crap! It's Troy!
@@Zachary-it7uq lol
One of my favorite RBs ever, specifically because I followed him from when he was playing in HS 15 minutes down the road from me. I loved that he got one more hoorah with arizona after his stint with the jets
This was my favorite running back during his time. I would argue he was better than AP at that time 🤦🏾♂️ lol
the good days even as a AP fan , remember those arguments lol

He was a good player and I enjoyed watching him. Just the other day I was wondering what happened to him. I don't often reflect on anything football, and for some reason he popped into my head. Was a joy to watch play.
A video of the life and death of Walter Payton would be really interesting
Have you ever heard of A football life
Yeah that’s never been done lmao
so I found this channel a few weeks ago and over the course of those few weeks I've watched your videos more frequently each respective day. I have to say you have something unique about you that keeps your videos fresh. Just seems like you genuinely enjoy going out and researching getting the facts right and just giving out football knowledge. Keep the up the grind. 💪.
Flem you gotta do Miles Austin, I remember him having a couple pretty decent seasons but then he just kinda vanished...
Love the video! My team and my Guy. Them 8-8 and non contending seasons hurt but he made them so much better. Respect great video!
Do MJD next this was the running back rivalry of the late 2000s
Oh yes please! Different type of back but exciting to watch
Pocket Hercules as Primetime called him
Fax I loved watching the titans vs jags
chris johnson was my hero, my role model. hes the reason i love football as much as i do. keep it up man
If you’re a bengals fan like the sign in the back suggests, I feel for you lol.
Cincinnati Dumpster Fire
"Queue the Wayne." Why do these words hype me up so much? Literally the only youtube creator I go out of my way of to watch every new video.
Flemlo can you do a video on Desmond Howard, the only kick returner to win super bowl MVP?
It amazes me to watch him run on the field. His strides seem so long and his yet is like everyone else is in a .75 playback speed
I still remember playing Madden when CJ2K was in the game. Dude was unstoppable, and he truly is one of the greats.
When Chris Johnson first got in the league, the Titans were much see TV. He was unstoppable on Madden.
if andy reid was the coach of the titans when they had vince young and CJ, they would have gone to a superbowl. Jeff fischer wasted and destroyed what could have been something great
or mike vrabel even
Straight cash homie... World class speed and talent. Was a true pleasure to watch him put in work.
The Titans have had some of the best players to ever suit up!!!..3 super bowls easy!!!!😔😔😔🏈🏈🏈
@@danielcarr05dc 0 super bowls, facts.
Growing up in Nashville Chris Johnson and PacMan Jones were the two players everybody wanted to be like in elementary school forever one of my hero’s
What up Flemlo Raps give me a shout out here from Austin, Texas. Can you please 🙏 do a video on.... What happened to Ron Dayne?? 😎
So many times if a defender couldn't get it done at the point of attack, he was going to the end zone. Every play that was a handoff during his tenure on the Titans was exciting. He was such a dynamic player.
Yall forgetting bo jackson ran a 4.13 in a 40 yard dash back in 86
Man I love bo jackson
Fav running back of all time I’m usually a legends player geek but growing up watching Cj2k was just crazy
Live your life like Flem Lo is gonna make a “What Happened To” video about you.
FlemLo Raps thank you giving the sport we love the human stories we need.
13:15 - 13:35 I thought about Bo Jackson and how fast he was during the time he got injured.
CJ 10.66 100m and Bo 10.44 100m. Bit there are plenty of players who ran faster than both of them.
sydboski 😐 You missed the point of my comment. Go back and listen, then read it again; because I wasn’t highlighting who was the fastest running back.
@@_majohn92 Ok. But Bo's injury was not a soft tissue injury.
sydboski Honestly, you should’ve never commented on my post; because you clearly didn’t understand - and still don’t - from jump. Plus, you disrespected me in your first comment. 🤦🏾♂️ See ya, kid.
...and I don’t owe you an explanation.
@@_majohn92 Lol disrespected you? You are funny. Stop it. I did not dis you at all. I made a comment thelat Bo was faster and there are people faster than both. Now if you took offense from that, you need help. Yes I may have misunderstood your comment and I agreed that I did. So now your salty that Bo's injury was not a soft tissue injury because the bone was ripped out of the socket? You need to first get your facts straight then get the bee from under your bonnet and get some thicker skin. LMAO!
