As a Titans fan, that first DeMarco Murray season was fun. I enjoyed having him on the team, it sucks that he fell off so quickly after that. But, I can’t complain too much with the luck we’ve had at running back over the years. Earl Campbell, Eddie George, Chris Johnson, Derrick Henry, it feels like our identity

Henry seemed like he couldn't really figure it out early, I think he lacked some confidence. He's an AD type of guy who needs to be fed the ball over and over and over until he wears the defense down and things start to click for him. He really went to the next level once Murray was out of the picture. He's put up 1000 yard seasons and new career highs in every rushing category since he got the starting job in 2018.

Trust me as a cowboys fan a majority of us don’t hate him, didn’t hate him for leaving, and are glad that he had that incredible season and hell I don’t hate the titans either so as a fan of football it was nice to see Murray go have another 1000+ yard season in Tennessee. I completely understand why both parties did what they did and it worked out for the cowboys in the long run getting Zeke and Dak in 2016 but it would have admittedly been nice to see Murray stick around for a few more years. I have a Murray Jersey, and Ironically a Tashard Choice Jersey. That guy was a beast too. Hell I even have a Felix Jones Jersey. Either way I am glad that Murray is happy where he is today.

Murray was always a stand up guy that played with a lot of heart. He gave his all when he had the opportunity to run behind one of the best offensive lines in NFL history and made the most of it. Loved it when he bought his lineman those imacs. He was luckier than most to get the opportunity that he did. But the best overall decision he could have ever made would of been to take that 6 million offer and stay on the team. We all make mistakes in life.

He had 1,200 yards and 9 TD’s with the Titans and I’m a Titans fan, he got us out of 2-14 to 9-7 record and would spark the beginning of the Derrick Henry era which is now in a Super Bowl run. I know it’s not much for other nfl fans but he helped the Titans turn everything around and that means a lot to me. He was awesome.

"Did the exact opposite with Zeke Elliot" Drafted Zeke and then paid him a ton of money. Passed on Jalen Ramsey. Should have stuck to the Murray gameplan: RB's are interchangeable and a dime a dozen. Now the Cowboys secondary continues to be a weak point and Zeke looks old and slow already right after reupping and getting the big (much bigger) contract they weren't willing to give DM.

One of the best, the Cowboys need to know the balance in keeping their people longer if their still producing. Yes, contracts get extended but they have to put a limit on team raise under the next signing as a group, because eventually it comes too, a resigning bonus not a per year, compounded raise, hopefully the team is also playing a game that’s still fun to play and even though their getting payed to play, they see winning the Championship is more important than just blowing the team unity in a repeat season.
