Jean Paul Sánchez De León Knights Enchanter is very good against Dragons, as it turns out. I would not know, however, i just read it. I went necromancer because of the promise of Walking Bombs and spreading said bomb through the initial explosion.

My noob a** killed the Ferelden Frostback in 2016 (I think) and I was a mage. The Ferelden Frostback dropped the Grand Enchanter's Staff. Why is this relevant? I was so proud of myself I rocked that staff for the rest of the game. Still remember killing many fire dragons with that staff. By far my favorite weapon, and the dragons my favorite thing about Dragon Age Inquisition.
Thank you for uploading this soundtrack! When I first listened when fighting High Dragon on Western Approach, that soundtrack was just so good! High Dragon fights will always be the most memorable moments in 2014! Once again, THANK YOU!
Feels awesome going solo as a knight enchanter b/c all your party died, dodging around with fade step and tanking hits with barrier when necessary. I remember it took quite a while to kill my first dragon in nightmare, but it felt so good when I finally made it.
I am afraid when it comes to the history of gaming, no game does boss fights better than dragon's dogma. But this isn't to say the dragon fights in DAI weren't great, I enjoyed them as well :)
No lie I was humming shadows fall because of this song during the sandy howler Side note but those Crystal's you can find and take to the oasis to get buffs and loot make fire, cold and spirit damage absolutely ludicrous to my character. I was tanking full fireballs with barely a scratch to my defense stack
This game is very punishing, even on the easiest difficulty. If you are not prepared and the right level, you WILL get bodied by a dragon, or something you wouldn't even expect to beat you. Trust me, DO YOUR RESEARCH ON THESE FRIGGIN' DRAGONS! The best way to survive this game is to farm the heck out of every area you visit, ping the crap out of the place to find everything, buy the best weapon and armor schematics you can afford, then craft your own stuff. Trust me, it's time consuming but it's worth it, I've had the same armor and weapon since I was level eight and now I'm level 14, still can't find anything better.
It was during a dragon hunt that I noticed how overpowered the spin move with the vacuum upgrade is. I flung the dragon around like a toy. It was ridiculous.
One of the most epic battle them when fighting Sandy Howler. She was a tough dragon and my last dragon to hunt down. But boy did I enjoy beating the hell out of her. All the tactics I learned so far my tactics were superb.

Not saying this isn't badass music, but my dragon fighting music is Goblin King of the Darkstorm Galaxy by Gloryhammer (yes, that's actually the name of the band). It has nothing to do with dragons at all, but it's just badass all-around fight music.
This is a great first dragon fight, and it was my first dragon fight, the theme goes good for your first encounter with these big bad demons. With iron bull, solas and cassandra at my side, we battled and won barely scraping by. Fucking love this game xD
Love this song! Totally makes you just want to charge right into the fighting just so you can hear this playing. Who cares about dying the music itself is epic enough for me to not give a care! The first dragon(s) I killed were Hivernal and The Kaltenzahn. Barrier spells, Antivan Fire Grenades, Dragon Slaying Runes, and just knowing the timing of their attacks worked the trick for me.
Man, I fought 5 or 4 Dragons (Can't really remember) and the Abyssal High Dragon is my favorite out of all. Also, just a suggestion for Dragon Age players out there. I really reccomend having Blackwall, Dorian, and Varric on your party. You can kill a Dragon pretty much fast.
I hope the next game will give you the option to raise a dragon or do anything else to protect their species, instead of eleminating their kind for some good loot and trophys ;_;
My favorite dragon fight in DA: I was fighting Hakkon, Friggin Corphy's dragon was a little bitch compared to that thing on the hardest difficulty setting. Just walking through that frozen keep was insane constantly having to use anti-freeze potions XP
"Oh god..a Dragon..uhm..do i fuck with it? It didnt go well for me when i tried murdering Flemeth in DA.O or when i went to the Bone pit in DA:2.." *Music kicks in!* "IM COMING TO MURDER YOU; FERELDAN FROSTBACK!" *Dead* "WEll, shit. At least i heard this awesomesauce music!"
lmao, Flemeth was a fucking nightmare even on easiest difficulty, I killed every dragon up until inquisition, and when I first encountered the ferelden frostback I was like "Yes! come here you fuck!" and I killed it, like a fuckin champ.
i headcanon that the sandy howler in the hissing wastes woke up and thought my reaver inquis. was her baby and they didnt really fight it she just took a nap w/ it until the morning when the dragon realized that in fact- this human in a fancy tin can that smelled like dragon blood was not her child
I loved the dragons in this game, but best dragon fight for me personally was going one on one without a team against the spectral dragon in origins awakenings.
I've killed the 10 dragons around 4 times already, so I've gotten used to fighting them. I know when they are about to do the wing flaps, tailwhips, and breathing fire. I know when to move my mages in, away, or to hide (in the case of the Hinterlands dragon). I mean, I have only faced them on casual so far, but I AM going to be playing on the harder difficulties so I can get a few deaths in on my computer.
On the whole Inquisition was...... good enough for me. Some good things, some bad. A couple were excellent. Trevor Morris music was SUPERB. Another thing - I hate bestial dragons. I think fantasy dragons should always talk and be extremely intelligent. However despite this Inquisition won me over with its dragons. The way they looked and the SOUND was brilliant. Boss fights were decent enough as well. A good old harken back to the hyper bosses of old rpgs. Reminding me of Baldurs Gate 2 and fighting Firkraag or the Shadow Dragon. Great stuff.
I've always had a better time fighting the dragon at Crestwood than other locations and I usually fight that dragon first before the others. While the dragon in the Hinterlands can be considered the first high dragon you ever encounter in the game, the patches of fire are a huge hazard and the dragonlings are annoying but still dangerous when they all start ganging up on you.
Hinterlands dragon is the 'this will kill you, take a break and face it later' design, Storm Coast is only even unlocked/seen in late game, so yes Crestwood is seemingly the first dragon you may be intended to actually defeat, zone-order-wise.
Key I found was having at least one warrior so you can send them to keep the dragonlings busy and kill them off quickly. Iron Bull is an awesome choice for this due to his Reaver abilities.
I love Iron Bull. As a test, I was trying to seduce him. Even I'm a male. hahahhaha. This was one of my most funny moments. It was hilarious funny. If you like DRAGON music and stuff, you will find my Facebook. I'm a real DRAGON LOVER.
I hated killing the dragons, absolutely hated it!! Then years later watching Visarion, Rheagal, Meleys Arax and maybe Sunfyre die. Poor sweet Sunfyre😞🤪🤪🤪
This is a fine song, but there's one during other dragon fights that I like better and am trying to find it. Anyone know which one I'm referring to? If you search for the vinsomer fight, that song, and also the one that plays during Cassandra's loyalty mission, which also has that same song in it. If someone can find it, I'd be thankful. Just search those two things and watch a video of those parts.
I found it, search in youtube as dragon age inquisition vinsomer ost, and a video called vinsomer battle theme (storm coast) will appear, I´m sure that´s the one you are looking for.
I already found it, someone already pointed it out on another video. Yeah, you just have to put 'Dragon Age Inquisition Vinsomer Theme'. It wasn't on when I had asked originally.
Cole: “You have dragon horns. Why didn’t you name yourself the iron dragon?”
Iron Bull: “Hmmmm...shit...that would have been better!”
I was taking a castle when they said that, and we were in a BATTLE xd

Iron Bull, Sera, and Cassandra like dragon fights. Although Bull is much more enthusiastic. Then again he's always enthusiastic about violence.

"IM COMING TO MURDER YOU; FERELDAN FROSTBACK!"
*Dead*
"WEll, shit.
This song feels like I'm watching The Mummy again :D, really hits that bar of high epic and fantasy fun
I like how this epic music was playing as I snuck past the sleeping Howler, unwilling to throw my life away in the insanely difficult Dragon fights.
“I feel alive! Like REAALLY ALIVE!” - Sera
Abbysal High Fucking Dragon
i headcanon that the sandy howler in the hissing wastes woke up and thought my reaver inquis. was her baby and they didnt really fight it she just took a nap w/ it until the morning when the dragon realized that in fact- this human in a fancy tin can that smelled like dragon blood was not her child
Thanks! I've been looking for this for a week now. Why it's not on the official soundtrack, I have no idea!
Why do i hear Boss music?!
Those who don't take iron bull up against these guys are in for a world of hurt.
Iron Bull I swear is designed for these Dragon fights. They go from insanely hard to incredibly easy when you bring him along.
I loved the dragons in this game, but best dragon fight for me personally was going one on one without a team against the spectral dragon in origins awakenings.
My first play this game. My ass going this tunnels and came out nowhere a dragon frostback burnin my ass
I've killed the 10 dragons around 4 times already, so I've gotten used to fighting them. I know when they are about to do the wing flaps, tailwhips, and breathing fire. I know when to move my mages in, away, or to hide (in the case of the Hinterlands dragon). I mean, I have only faced them on casual so far, but I AM going to be playing on the harder difficulties so I can get a few deaths in on my computer.
at the last dragonon nightmare.. my assassin was like " pf that was all? "the fight took me maybe 2 min. 30k deathmarks so OP
Ironically, Inquisition has better dragon fights than Skyrim, even if the damn things were rarely smart enough to fly
almost every single battle on this game is performed without music ! What were they thinking?
Magnificent creatures. I didnt kill those who lived in wilderness and didnt threaten populated areas.
I love how Sera gets all giddy every time she sees one.
Because she always is shooting at the floor >:(
@@elfraca_06897 don't equip Kitty's Collar. Don't pick it up at all. That demon bugs all your archers.
@@leone41ll thats why i put that thing on a mage (i dont remember wich one xd)
I think I almost tossed my controller once trying to battle that dragon in the Hissing Wastes...
abyssal high dragon is really the best dragon for me in dai above all other dragons
I slain 10 out of 10 dragons after tendous of emotional
The Mischeivious little bastards protect her well! I really struggled against Ravager.
Key I found was having at least one warrior so you can send them to keep the dragonlings busy and kill them off quickly. Iron Bull is an awesome choice for this due to his Reaver abilities.
Ah yea.. Sandy Howler. Epic fight.
this music is awasome
And then a bezelguese blows everyone to itty-bitty bits.
Nothing sweeter than using Death by a thousand cuts on a dragon....
dragon fight = Dark souls in dragon age inquisition
I wouldn't put them on same level. But agree on they're difficult and sometimes a pain in the ass to beat.
I love Iron Bull. As a test, I was trying to seduce him. Even I'm a male. hahahhaha. This was one of my most funny moments. It was hilarious funny. If you like DRAGON music and stuff, you will find my Facebook. I'm a real DRAGON LOVER.
Ofcourse this is one of my FAV games !!!!
Shame on you, to try to ask ..... hehehhe lol, just joking
Sandy Howler was tough to beat
Strike when she comes for me!
Fighting dragons on dragon age is way more better than fighting dragons on elder scrolls
I hated killing the dragons, absolutely hated it!! Then years later watching Visarion, Rheagal, Meleys Arax and maybe Sunfyre die. Poor sweet Sunfyre😞🤪🤪🤪
Any way to get the music that plays during the dragon fight in the storm lands? Thanks again for this!
I know wht you mean, i´ve been looking for that song as well, is the one that appears with the dragons in emprise du lion isn´t it?
I found it, search in youtube as dragon age inquisition vinsomer ost, and a video called vinsomer battle theme (storm coast) will appear, I´m sure that´s the one you are looking for.
I already found it, someone already pointed it out on another video. Yeah, you just have to put 'Dragon Age Inquisition Vinsomer Theme'. It wasn't on when I had asked originally.
