I am also suffering from the same disease among others. I don't know how your doing now but I hope the sun is shining for you. You should try support groups also if you don't already. It can be hard to muster up the energy, I know, but it can be a tremendous foundation of strength and support. I'm pulling for you and you have strangers out there that believe there is a way.

Yes, I have been experiencing memory loss. It is both long term and in the present. It started about a month and half ago when I switched from unilateral ECT to bi-temporal ECT. The doctors have assured me that this will stop and that I will be able to recall my memories once the treatment has stopped.
I have suffered severe memory problems as a result of having only done 6 treatments. I will not recommend ECT and I cannot recommend ECT. I was very hopeful it would work for me and I feel so much dumber than I used to be.
