I am absolutely blown away by this piece. I don’t really care that you’re not a tenor or that I’m not a tenor and I don’t have the power to sing this aria. I just want to lose myself in the passion of the music and lyrics. Thank you so much for this video.
Hey there Sherry! I love that sentiment. Who cares if we're not tenors!? What matters is that we feel the passion and power inside us. Even my partner is having a crack at this one! Happy singing. 😁🎶
I am willing to tru this aria and more - I am 70 years young, have never sung professionally, but all who hear me sing tell me I have strong breath control and volume, and I am a male tenor so I am finally listening to those who say try opera, and will do so. Your tutorial for Nessum dorma is the first aria I will learn, so thank you again for such a wonderful tutorial.

So very helpful for pronunciation. I am in a choir about to back two tenors in a show in our local theatre. We will be singing the choir two lines plus the the rest of the aria. one of the choirs I sing with is Classical Voices, you can find us on TH-cam too

Well.....it's a tenor aria, so you might not find many women singing it. I'd be keen to know if you do find any recordings though, and what you think of them! Thanks for watching, and your extra membership support. 😁🎶
Hi. The original is G, going up to a top D. There are tracks in F on TH-cam, but you'd need to check with the OP whether they'd be happy for you to use them publicly. Alternatively, you could get a custom made MP3 in a key of your choice. MP3 Accompanist is one you could look up. Also check your comp rules - sometimes they state that certain genres need to be in their original key. 😁🎶
Hi there! I can certainly add it to the list. For my channel, I try to choose arias that I believe every singer could have a go at. LaF requires such a degree of technical proficiency, that it is really out of reach for beginner singers and therefore probably not quite the right "fit" for the channel. I might have a look at doing it for the "members" group, as I can offer a bit more personal help there. You could also book me for a lesson or two if you'd like some individual help - www.singinglessons.online Happy singing!!
