Ms. Elena Villa- you did a phenomenal job elucidating the lyrics of " Nessum Dorma." I like your didatic repetitive Italian language teaching style. Merci Madame! Italian reminds me of French.
Thanks so much for this helpful video, @Elena Villa. Your teaching is really clear and precise, which I love. Now to watch again and practise, practise, practise...
Would anyone know, what her name. The reason I am asking is because, I am working on this song for a recital in December, and also, a festival where I would be singing this song. What I am needing is Face to face help with the phonetic pronunciation of this song
I'm trying to learn Nessun Dorma now (tenor) and I can sing the notes without issue, BUT, the language is killing me. I can memorize the lyrics (though Latin, like with Ave Maria was a LOT easier to learn) but trying to roll my r's is like trying to squeeze orange juice out of a lemon. Arghhhhh.
I'm sorry you are having a hard time learning Rs... I know, a lot of people does...think as a child learning his first sounds...children just try, by imitating and they don't give up, till the sounds starts working...no expectations, confidence, patience. Hear a sound, feel it try it...in the long run it will come close. We are motherlanguage of our motherlanguage. Still we can learn new sounds, by hearing and repeating! Let me know! And always have fun!
I like the way she teaches
