    Nick v Rafa is what we need!

    Goodness!!! A lot is talked about Nick pertaining to his on court antics, style of play and commentary but not a lot is said about his tennis I.Q. pertaining to his own game and tennis match strategy. The fact that he can coach himself for an incremental growth projectory is also great.

    • @Noizee
      @Noizee 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I think this is what people miss he is clearly one of the best talents in tennis history but this is also because of the way he coaches himself and the fearlessness he has to play unpredictably on big points

    • @c3vzn
      @c3vzn 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      It came across in Laver Cups when he was telling teammates how they should play against the likes of Roger & Rafa. He analyses the game really well.

      What is tennis IQ?

    • @cks2020693
      @cks2020693 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@scottstorchfan simply put: knowing where the opponent is likely to be on the court and play the shots/placements to give yourself a bigger advantage
      in my personal opinion, Rublev is example of low tennis IQ as he has an powerful forehand but it also clouds his judgments that sometimes a better shot might be a dropshot, lob, or a shot thats less powerful but better placement that can set him up for a winner the next shot.

      Make a choice, when Federer is spraken, he is so eloquent, political correct, everybody should behave like that. Now should everybody be as honest as Kyrgios. As Novak was blasted 20 years for his behavior in his early twenties. What a doublet standards!.
