    He gives really good answer about surfaces being too similar 8:05 and about tennis "containing" personalities 13:30.
    He really matured and apart from the big 3 he is my favourite player to watch. For the guy who never won a grand slam he brings a lot to tennis and will be remembered for that and that is his goal - to entertain.
    Love him or hate him i think we need more people like him in tennis.

      @ Ferguson: A balance should be found cause tennis matches where it is just serving, can be boring. On the other hand, endless baseline rallies without any shotmaking, can be boring as well.

      @MrBjorn6 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@generalshockwavekingpin326 he's wrong? When he said S&V players like Federer? He's been an aggressive baseline player since 2003 (his first year winning wimbledon and the 2nd year of slow grass).

    • @niamhne8046
      @niamhne8046 3 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      @@MrBjorn6 it’s still extremely slow for what it should be. The game has changed and seems to prefer long shot rallies, probably because of tv and crowd purposes but it does take the game away especially when each surface should play different but it doesn’t seem to anymore

    • @simianmoonstudios
      @simianmoonstudios 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      I agree. Federer was winning Wimbledon and the US Open a lot more until they slowed both courts down, a great deal. And if I'm being honest; it has favored Djokovic's style over the last decade. (I don't mean discredit his talent, it just gives him the slight edge).

      He'd need a miracle with his work ethic. If he trained half as hard as Rafa, Federer or Djokovic or anybody trying to improve, he'd have a chance.
      His body will never last 7 best of 5 set matches, with the training he does!! He's wasted his best years.
