They don't call her the queen of country music for nothing. No matter how many years pass or even if she takes a break from singing, when she sings her older songs she never misses a beat. Usually singers after years that has past sing their older songs but with the beat a little off but not Loretta. She still sounds the same as she always did. When I was younger I grew up listening to Loretta's music because my mother use to always listen to it. I thank my mother for that because I have grown to love Loretta's music through my own mother.
What’s so neat is that no matter who sings this song, and there been many who sang it to Loretta herself at award shows and else, no matter how great of an artist, NO one can sing this and make it sound perfect than Loretta. It is so her signature song, and just so perfectly country. Iconically, maybe the absolutely greatest country music song EVER. (Guess I’m a little slated towards Loretta) but such a short little song and says SO MUCH. To the Queen of Country music, we salute you, and love you always.
I’ve been binge watching all things Loretta Lynn and I never seen or heard this and let me just say when she grabbed that microphone I damn near jumped out my skin 😂😂🙌 come on Queen
The queen of country music and pride of Kentucky! We love our coal miners daughter! My mom was also a coal miners daughter and this song reminds me of her!
What a beautiful woman 🤩😍❤️💞👠 that can never be duplicated. At 84 she's still looking good and voice is just as strong as it always have been. Loretta Lynn was a special person 💖👑🙏🎸🎤🌹 and will surely be missed. Love 💕💕 you Loretta Lynn. RIP.
I love Loretta Lynn, I can feel every word she sings in coal miners daughter song. From growing up in it, then living in it myself. It gives us coal miners a lot of pride when we hear this song. I LOVE LORETTA LYNN
@@dawsongibbons3200 I could be related to her husband and his family. I do have the same last name. It's still not that common. My dad met one of her bus drivers when they stopped off at our small-town post office on their way to Fayetteville North Carolina for a concert. My dad told him he was kin to Loretta he just laughed and said yeah man everyone is! My dad showed him his driver's license and he's like damn! You might just be kin to Loretta!
I can't help but think of my dear, sweet Grandmother when I hear this. As a child my brother and I spent a lot of time with our Grandparents on the weekends and during the summers and this is one of many songs that brings back so many wonderful memories. It takes me right back to Saturday night in my Grandparents living room watching The Grand Ol' Opry. There would be my Grandma sitting in her chair tapping her foot and an undeniable glow on her face because she loved this music so much, a smile from ear to ear. When I look back, I credit my Grandma with showing me the power of music. I love you Grandma and I think of you every single day, you were the best Grandma that ever lived and I was so lucky to have you...
