    Thank you for that demonstration. I have new batteries arriving and wondered if there was any order in which the wires should be removed/reattached.
    I can tackle the task with confidence now.

    I replaced my lead acid batterys with Lithium. I did purchase a lithium charger. The replacemnet dropped the weight by over 20 pounds. I now use velcro to keep from having to take the screws out to recharge to batteries. I went from 18 amp hour lead to 10 amp hour lithium.

      Wow! That's great, are you getting more range?

    Is it ok to stay with same voltage but raise the AH number?

    • @MobilityDirect
      @MobilityDirect  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes as long as the batteries fit in the case. Usually the higher the AH, the bigger the battery.

      @@MobilityDirect i went up from 12ah to 15ah. Your right because if i went any bigger the battery got bigger. Another question. Since i went up will i need a 12v 15ah charger? Or will my 12v 12ah battery charger charge them fully?

      @@chrismarese2462 you need to use a lithium charger. We sell them on our website.

    after you replace the batteries do you have to charge them then drain them then charge them again for the bwttery to learn how full it shoulf be like a laptop battery?

    • @MobilityDirect
      @MobilityDirect  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching our video and commenting! You don't really need to drain the batteries. Actually draining them frequently and doing a full charge may damage them. Make sure that your batteries are charged overnight or at least 6-8 hours to get them out of that "dormant" stage they are in after you just purchased them. When batteries sit in the warehouse for several months without being used, you typically need to give them a lengthy charge to get them to have that maximum travel range capacity that you're expecting. Are these cases generic across the brand or is their multiple versions that are very specific to each scooter

    • @MobilityDirect
      @MobilityDirect  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Some are interchangeable but not many. Most require a specific case made for said model.

    What size screws used on the battery box? Son lost the screws

    • @MobilityDirect
      @MobilityDirect  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You may just need to take the box to a hardware store and have them find screws that fit. We don't have the exact size of the screws available at the moment.

    I do not have a battery box on my gogo es 2 scooter. I don't know which wire goes to which battery. I need help I thought I had the red one correct and it sparked at me. Hopefully my new batter is still good.

    How to reset the ret button if it's all the way pushed in?

    • @MobilityDirect
      @MobilityDirect  ปีที่แล้ว

      If it's all the way pushed in, that means your breaker is not tripped. You can't reset a breaker button if it's not tripped.

    You don't have velcro is not going to stay! Just replace it with new Velcro Jesus 😂

      Yes, but not everyone has Velcro that is why we said it's optional to use the old Velcro.
