Man, I love this game. Very good story, very unique gameplay, and just the right difficulty if you know what's coming. I used to do a strategy where I would try to farm resources as long as possible in Mission 6 (the nebula gives a LOT of resources over time), and even one run where I would capture the Heavy Cruiser in Mission 6. Later playthroughs I didn't bother with it because it's too easily converted by Beast infections.

Yes, and now I'm watching your HW1. Well done on catching the dialog about them becoming extinct without the trays. That only happens if you're not interrupted with the capture of the ship before they are defeated. I've seen that line only on one playthrough so well done.@@captainsprice7905

I have seen a full play through it is quite similar to the sjet story line .. not quite as interesting as this game was but still pretty close ... many prerelease people were complaining but they seem to al be call of duty players and couldnt handle actual tactical battling .... guess they missed the grenade climbing
I'm guessing a trainer or something had to be used for this though. I remember playing the campaign and not being allowed to have a fleet even half the size of what was in this.
The ending implied that they are still out there, however everytime hidden clusters of ships appeared or found, the now Somtaaw certified warships of various factions make the Beast take the L before anything worse happened
Hated this game for its departure from the original home world. Absolutely Loved it for the story and gameplay. The combat was better than the original home world. I hated the unit voice actors since they’ve lacked the genericness of the hw1, but everything else was amazing.

I love the engineer doing his best to explain just what the beast is. Dude sounds so disturbed and he's just trying to understand.

The story and narrating quality of this game on another level compared to Homeworld 3....which is absolutely horrible.
