It's not boring, it's the only way to educate some people in big cities what the countryside provides them .

I live in a major city. Work repairing farm equipment all them time. We also have a lot of “historic” farms (they receive massive subsidies and cannot do as many others have done by turning land into housing.) every school takes the kids to one of these heritage farms at least twice. My daughter who is 13 has been on 2 field trips thus far. She hated it and wouldn’t touch meat for about a month. The people in big cities are not ignorant to where food comes from, they just don’t care. As long as they can go to the corner store and buy what they need they couldn’t care less how it’s actually produced.

Thank you for taking the time to talk us non farmers through the process and how much of the animal actually makes it to the shop.
I think everyone who watches your channel are the converted but the info you provide allows us to talk to others about the stress and challenges farmers have on a daily basis.
If you can convince your butcher to go camera that would be great.

If people are squimish, shame on them. Everyone should know the history of food. If they don't like just leave. No one is forced to watch or complain. I grew up at a time where you grew, fished and preserved, or you starved. No food banks. We did not do the large animals like cattle but they were in the neigbourhood. Before I married my mother-in-law helped us to process a deer and said afterwords, "now you know how to do it, I'm stepping back". Best lesson she taught me. We have dressed many a deer almost for 40 years. Don't ask me to name the cuts, never learned them; don't care; just want my protein. I enjoy watching all aspects of farming, from a seed to butchering.

Educational Tom definitely not boring! It’s how our food is raised and then processed so we can eat , it also lets us see the work involved by the butcher in preparing all the different cuts of meat . Enjoyed seeing the video a lot 👍
