So much higher that some telecom companies refuse to accept their calls directly, instead forcing prisoners to use a third party calling card company as middle man.
Do you have even the faintest idea how much it costs to house, feed, and secure a single prisoner?! And you're concerned that prisoner telephone calls are pricey?!

And people who genuinely suffer with actuaĺ mental health issues (psychiatric conditions) may often be the first to tell you -"take him back", they don't want him either, they know the difference between right and wrong. With the exception of the personality and behavioural disorders, most don't want trouble or offence to other members of society. As opposed to this jerk and eg. Darryl Brooks who drool and slaver in anticipation at the thought of going before, and destabilising- authority figures as senior as a Judge and officers of the court. In my short history within the psyche and prison system these types were fairly rare, and the most exhausting to nurse/manage.

I think he is just acting. He is trying to play crazy while then switching to normal. I believe the bragging about the test was part of the act. He didn't believe anything he said and was getting over .
Yes, with all respect... I think we hand out the mental health card at the gate too often. And people who genuinely suffer with actuaĺ mental health issues (psychiatric conditions) may often be the first to tell you -"take him back", they don't want him either, they know the difference between right and wrong. With the exception of the personality and behavioural disorders, most don't want trouble or offence to other members of society. As opposed to this jerk and eg. Darryl Brooks who drool and slaver in anticipation at the thought of going before, and destabilising- authority figures as senior as a Judge and officers of the court. In my short history within the psyche and prison system these types were fairly rare, and the most exhausting to nurse/manage.

I'm not in control of myself when i'm in the middle of an episode but i'm still accountable for what I do. At best, it's an explanation for my behavior but it's not an excuse. One of my dogs has an a hole issue. I’m not one to judge. But it is super funny when she scoots across the deck. The nails in the deck usually end it pretty quick. 😂
2nd guy is the inmate that gets on the last nerve of everyone in his pod. The COs even pitch in to get him bonded out.😵💫😵💫😵💫
That made me giggle... The other inmates probably tried to help out, donated money off their books.
2nd guy: jail won't fix him, but he has to be locked up for public safety! Any facility that he can walk out of does no good. And it runs in the family.. is her other son Chili Decastro? That bond is a slap in the face to officers who have to continually wrangle him. He urinated in the squad car for gosh sakes... John Steiner really does seem a good sort. Abe Lincoln had a great quote about such people and things.
Steiner may not be an angel, but at least he is honest and respectful to the court. He knows it’s not worth fighting when he is guilty
