You're not going to believe this, GA. I got a box of pennies on Saturday. The number of wheats was low for me, 8, but I got... my first Indian head! The year? 1868!!!!! I am still shocked. It's corroded but the date is clear as day.
@gabrielmarquescarvalho8851 I've never had boxes of pennies that were all new coins. I've never had any boxes that were all new actually. I have had one or two half dollar boxes that were 80 to 90% 2024s, but otherwise I only ever get mixed boxes.
I picked up 6 rolls of LMCs, and they all turned out to be 2022-PDs. I don't understand why they're selling for 3.99 each on one of the larger precious metals sites.
Thank you for the hunt. I enjoy these customer wrapped coin hunts. You never know what’s going to pop out. I FINALLY got two circulated half dollar box’s. 11 40%, 1 90%, and a beautiful 2000 proof.
I love getting those odd types of rolls, one of my favorite things about customer-wrapped rolls. Of course one of the cons is miss-stuffed or short rolls. You would think a bank would notice a $10 roll that says $7.50, haha.
Dimes are tough to search. I have recently added them in just for a little variety and have done ok with them. I would rather find 90% halves though. $12 coin vs $2.50 coin. hhhmmmmmmm... tough call. :-)
@@GASilverHunter I have found only one 2024 D nickel in three $100 boxes of nickels. I think Rob Finds Treasure has lucked out and found a couple rolls of them by loose hunts. Hard as can be to find them. I live in the Southern California area. 🤷🏻♂️
Quick question… And with my luck, you’ll probably say it in the video 20 seconds after I click send on this but, what do you do with your deadwood? The Coins that are going back into circulation? Do you reroll? thank you!
I have talked about this in videos and I do have a good video that covers buying boxes and what I do with boxes I have searched. th-cam.com/video/JL8-uDFLlho/w-d-xo.html Short answer is, I reroll them and return them to a different bank/branch than where I got the coins. If the coins are Penny through Quarter AND the bank has told me I can return them (because perhaps they are short) I will sometimes return them to the same branch but its rare. I also mark all my rolls (on the wrapper) so I know I returned them.
Could you possibly tell me what my die grease error might be worth? I went to the coin shop and he said he did not sell them and did not know a price. Could you help me? I put it in my channel
Ebay has these as low as a $1 and upwards of $20-25. Tough to say as stuff like this will vary based on who wants to buy it. Now the 1983 penny, if that is actually copper, thats a find that could be worth quite a bit of money. What does it weigh?
Good hunt! SILVER!! Thank you!
Nice hunt 👍👍❤️
Thanks 👍
Nice hunt GA ❤️🔥
Thanks!!!
Good hunt GA! Well worth the trip to the bank👍 hope the bank figures out who that jagoff is putting nickels in quarters wraps!

That would imply they pay any attention.
Nice finds. Love the Merc. I have yet to find one of those. Granted, dimes are not my favorite denomination.

Nice hunt cool finds. I’ve switched over to hunting nickels myself. Seem to have better results lol. Keep those 2024’s you find.
I will in the future. This hunt we had ZERO 2024 nickels.

@@GASilverHunter it weighs 3 grams on the dot and I looked it up and a normal one today weighs 2.5 grams and a copper 1983 copper weighs 3.1 grams
