Hes killing us ...im a carrier and have worked mandatory o.t. for 3 years straight even being a regular. We are a govt service not a buisness! If the Post Office privatizes, you'll never be able to ship a package for under $50 Ever again
This man keep getting caught up in his lies what he's trying to do. He said that they don't have the money but the money is where you got all these different supervisors and mdo and Lead clerks that you don't really need is like they're making the big unfairly in a toxic.
I actually worked at the post office and just quit as a carrier! Let me give an exact example of how bad it is with one of typical days! So we all drive beat up 20 year old ford or chevys! The ford I was driving one day where the old school shifter locked up on me on the street and took me 10 minutes to drive again! Then as I’m finishing my shift and parking it in the garage it does it again and now I’m blocking all the other hard working employees who just want to leave and eventually I get help and they push my bucket away! That’s fricken dangerous as F and remember that and about 10 other incidents I had enough! So , I do get upset when I hear this country giving all this aid everywhere and postal workers are driving dangerous old trucks on top of a million things that are so dated w the post office
My late father was sorting and delivering in northeastern Detroit and Grosse Pointe Park and Grosse Pointe city when it was still the the Postal Department and retired 10 years after it became the US Postal Service (from sometime after WWII to 1980 or '82; my memory for dates is lousy). I'm glad he's not around to see what the USPS has become. One thing he told me that stuck with me: They never got a raise under a GOP POTUS, only the ones who were Democrats.
With all due respect. Why is he still the postmaster general? He has a gigantic conflict of interests! He was a huge Trump donor. That’s why he got the position.
As a postal worker I can say, he’s actually doing a really good job. Yes he’s bold and that can rub people the wrong way, but he’s moving us forward overall.
@@chaunceyhart1346 as a postal worker I echo ur comment and thoughts!! Can’t hate the Vision, this guy is needed to help rid wasteful spending and restructuring and extend the USPS into a sustainable yet profitable entity.. which these laid back, entitled employees need to understand, embrace and support. He’s your guy.
That didn't make sense. He destroyed the efficiency when he destroyed perfectly good mail sorting machines that were already paid for and replaced them with nothing. It not about overpaid employees. I know two postal workers, there is nothing entitled about what they do.
@@irritatingindiana886 No…didn’t USPS had a bailout due to fund mismanagement? My point being is unlike Amazon, UPS, DHL, FedEx etc, they have business models that are built in order to stay afloat. They are also experiencing low volume sale (things that pay salaries and bills) but don’t get govt support. Waste is present even while there’s low volume mail traveling throughout the country. Mr DeJoy has never addressed why he removed and dismantled the high speed sorting machines and why he has refused to reinstate them.
We know why, so mail would be terrible for the election.
It was to cut cost get over it
