She can write decent lyrics, I don't know about the actual musical engineering but I'm sure she's hired some good people so she's not a bad artist. It's just that her attitude sucks and that's what's gotten her here into obscurity

I actually really like Sorry I’m Late yes it has a The Mall during Christmas vibe but I find it very adorable and catchy. I also did like Today, Haircut, IDK, and Everything Makes Sense. I think it’s nice she released these songs and let them see the light of day even if they may or may not be her best work. I really would love to see Gabbie go down a Sara Bareilles & Norah Jones route with her next album she has a very good voice for Theatrical Jazz songs i wish she would explore more.
That first song sounded like a few of the songs from the movie A Cinderella Story: Christmas Wish. I think she was watching a lot of Christmas movies when she made this album. The instrumentals sound like every Christmas song in every Christmas movie lol.
Doing some research on this, this was the album that she announced way back in 2018/19 that she canned for years. Most of the songs are 4-5 years old from the 2WAYMIRROR era. Out of all the songs, Haircut is probably the one song I'd willingly listen to again, I think it's actually a decent song and gave me flashbacks to Medicate, another song of hers that I don't actually hate.

The production on this album was actually really good. But god damn she sang like the rent was due and I live for that shit.

I've been waiting for you to review this! I'm a low key stan of Gabbie's music wise and I'm always looking forward to her music releases because I'm a sucker for an underdog and hidden gems.
I also listened to trauma queen over and over obsessively when she was going through her mania because I went through something similar. Some people are best being a Stan of from a distance though.
However, even though I like her pop stuff the best, I only really like the last song of this album. Obsessed with her vocals. Haircut is nice but it just sounds like she was trying to redo her song Medicate.
Her music is really good and promising I really do root for her to grow and get better and come out on the other side a healthier and happier person and she grows. She is in the wrong for a lot of things she has done but you got to admit it’s never easy to go through so much backlash either (there are always some people who take criticism towards her too far). I don’t think it’s likely she will ever have the same career again but I feel if she comes clean for all her mistakes, apologizes, and grows she could in some ways get some redemption and have a somewhat healthy relationship with the internet again.
She has a looooooooooot of apologizing to do but I agree with you in that she's capable of having an ACTUAL redemption era, if she just got the chip off her shoulder and owned up to all the shit she's done in the past
@@catherinedean3796 Yeah I just wish she would at least understand where people are coming from and understand that most people don’t want to hurt her or ruin her. I feel she’s stuck on the past that her dirty laundry was publicized which I 100% understand since I can’t even imagine my worst mistakes and my bad days being put out in front of millions of people but I feel even with that she has to take at least some responsibility for her mistakes she does not have to agree with how these criticisms were brought to her but she needs to at least understand where people are coming from. I understand because I use to be like that in terms of how I handled getting in trouble and I’m still working to this day to better myself. To me accountability doesn’t only help the people you upset but it also helps you grow and go on to live a happy life. She can finally leave this baggage behind her if she just tried to understand where these people are coming from.

i think her lyrics are quite great! for the most part, i like the meanings of her songs, some don’t hit for me, but overall her lyrics are good! i definitely agree that some of the songs had some weird instrumentals- it gave cheesy christmas ad vibes which i’m not a fan of at all lmao
overall, the album isn’t one i’d go back to. i’m definitely glad i heard it though because there were definitely parts i genuinely enjoyed, overall it’s just not for me! (i don’t listen to much pop, im an indie gal). i definitely understand why people would enjoy this album:)

The instrumentals in the first couple songs sound like circus music or music you'd here on the "It's a small world" ride at Disney.
I liked 2waymirror, Bad Karma and a handful of songs off of trauma queen but this was the worst album ever made by anyone. Like I think gabbie has the potential to make good music, cause she has in the past but I feel like she not taking it seriously but still wants us to.
(Update) through this video this was my second time hearing this and it’s below decent. And the best song is the last song cause it’s soo gabbie and I kinda like rock gabbie (ik controversial)

I definitely agree, this is the best I’ve heard of Gabbie Hanna vocally! Her voice sounds so much better in these songs, clearly she’s put in the time and effort to practice. However, like you, most of the backing tracks I really dislike. Overall, I’m pleasantly surprised with her improvement. Though I definitely will not be listening to these songs outside of watching this video, lol

Well said! I feel like she probably does get a lot of hate and she obviously cant handle critics from people who want to help her. But creating is much better than causing problems. Which i heard she still does drama wise but those people are tolerable as long as they don’t go to the extreme and cause actual life threatening detrimental cause and affects in their own and others lives. Then its kinda up to the individual to change. Also to separate the good from the bad negative mindset and reprogramming to being ok for the sake of spite and sanity. i need yo learn that as well.
