- Huge update on Irv's 2018 Ford Focus RS! We go over all of the mods he has installed getting ready for the big turbo. He went down to Arizona and with the help of his brother, installed Cams, Valve springs, and a Twin disk clutch rated for 800hp! Then we unbox and install the new big turbo and get the first start. The journey to 500 HP on the stock block is almost complete!

Very nice im almost finished with my stroker build on the st, rs head swap, g35-900. Waiting on a few things.
I have the xTreme twin disc and it was unbearable until I changed back to stock engine and gearbox mounts
Hope you upgraded the synchros as well mate. Twin disc will eat the stock ones
What exhaust and downpipe are you using for the RS?

Wish I had bought an RS when they were in the high 20's.
Once Ford discontinued, prices sky rocketed back in the the high 30s 😭

Built motor on the focus or stock?
Stock internals! Idk if you watched the full video but we talked about pushing for 500hp on stock internals. Only thing modified on the motor itself is the cams, valve springs, and head studs.
I don't know if you still reply but my dad is going to get me a Ford Focus RS in the color Light Blue after I graduate High School. I am really wanting to mod the car when I rack up some money since I am still very young. Do you have any suggestions of what I could do to it so it can make more HP without exploding?
Start off with an intake and a tune and you’ll have a blast until you have the money to dump into it

Yup exploded🤣 on the 11th revision of the tune, currently trying to figure out an issue with the stock MAF sensor. Update soon!
@@TMWYT I would think a upgraded MAF would be needed for the range of power. Let me know if yall need help finding certain parts or whatever...
Yes we thought so as well. However when we put the new 4 bar on and updated the tune to account for it, the car starts and only runs for a few seconds 🥲 I’ll get a full update video up here soon! Thanks for offering 🔥

Stock block should hold 500 (possibly at risk of cracking) but stock rods are a different matter. Cast and weak
