- This is a rare recording of Akira Ifukube’s Destroy All Monsters Main Title, from a concert recording from 1986.
I do not own this song. This video is strictly for entertainment. Music belongs to Akira Ifukube. Godzilla is the property of Toho Co., LTD. - เพลง
Edit: Okay so this is now my most popular video by a long shot. If you guys happen to like kaiju music, I’ve got plenty of original covers on my channel! Feel free to give them a listen! If you like what you see here, why not subscribe? Thank you guys!
This song is not mine, but is from an official concert recording by none other than the late Akira Ifukube himself. Enjoy!
Hi
Dude you just hit 600 subs!
J Marcopulos Wow! I never would’ve even realized!
When we were kids and we saw Godzilla it was the most amazing thing and we knew the something bad could really be out there oh, and the music was masterful, and I say it is masterful because I wasn't to this music for the rest of my life oh, I'm not even in heaven I'll listen to this music
As much as I love Godzilla this is probably a better piece of music than a film featuring men in rubber suits deserves.
I kinda have a addiction to this song lol
Lol XD true tho
Me too.
Same I wonder if theres a remix
Ha same!
Same for me lololol
I like to think Godzilla was impressed by Anguirus's brass balls when he tangled with King Ghidorah in Destroy All Monsters. That must've been why Godzilla chose him as his ally against the Cockroach Aliens. He's like the Mickey to Anguirus's Rocky.
That’s a nice thought. Although Destroy All Monsters takes place after Godzilla vs Gigan.
@@Gojirawars03 Oh right, because Godzilla vs. Megalon acknowledged that it was the 1970's.
It would be absolutely mind-blowing to hear this in a modern movie
Especially when its one of the best songs I’ve heard
@@Gecko69420 amen
Not gonna lie but, this is the best DAM theme.
I am gping to tell my kids this was Endgame
I have seen this movie two times in both dubs and man I wished Varan, Manda, and Baragon had a bigger role or even used their attacks against Monster Zero
This is the song playing in my head when I bravely march off to mow the lawn. Or do homework. Or do my laundry. Or brush my teeth. Or feed my fish. Or make a pbj sandwich…
Pretty much anything & everything.
This movie / main theme gave me the closest rush I ever had next to watching Atragon for the first time in July 1965.
This is one of the greatest gift Japan has given us and they always give us a magnificent gift but this one will never be forgotten
:D
There's something very distinctive about how the melody progresses in Ifukube's music, so you can instantaneously tell it's written by him.
it's always very fun to listen to such kind of music. 🙂
One of my favorite Godzilla movies
58 years later and still slaps.
This brings back fond memories of watching the old Godzilla movies as a kid. Many thanks for the nostalgia!
Akira Ifukube Should Win an Oscar for These Wonderful Songs in Godzilla Movies and Other Kaijus
I love how Varans just hovering far back in the background as if he's late or something like "DAMMIT GUYS, I OVERSLEPT, WAIT FOR ME!"
Oh great cover oc, easy to see why this vid is your most popular.
Not a cover, actually. It’s a recording from Sensei Ifukube’s 1988 Ostinato concert.
@@Gojirawars03 Oh damn, I didn't read the description, I just got used to every music thing on this channel being a cover and thought the title meant a specific version.
Rare recording... That's actually like, really cool.
@@Gojirawars03 not to be a geek but it was actually released in 1986
Ikr
I can't stop listening to this
Such an outstanding composition
When monsters and soldiers join their forces against a common enemy
I can see Godzilla leading an army of man and monster into battle.
(With this theme playing)
such good music, truly a gift to the ears.
i love this song
This song always got me so pumped whenever it started playing. You knew something big was going down when you hear this theme.
Dude, I love this!
This and the other version in Godzilla VS King Ghidorah.!
I always think of the Moon Light SY-3 Rocket trying to shake off alien's spaceship (Fire Dragon?) and their cockpit and pilots are spinning with some fire in front of the screen.
And also, when the tank were firing missiles to Manda
Akira was a master he captured the moment and each monster with his Unique scores. Rodan's theme music is also off the chain.
been humming this my whole life, it will never leave my brain. also under appreciated movie that really takes you on imaginative journey of a world where humans co-exist with an island of monsters. I will always think of this movie when I see any of the new monsterverse films, with each one it is bringing the wonder and magic of this movie's plot into an organized and realistic setting, a world where the existence of monsters, or titans are a fact.
I like how it has parts of the Maser March in it.
Yeah
When I listen to this song, I imagine godzilla leading an army of anguirus, rodan, kumonga, varan, gorosaurus, mothra, baragon, manda, and minilla into an epic final battle with king ghidorah.
Well, that’s pretty much what happens in the movie, so it makes sense.
Wish Baragon and Varan had more scenes
@@cameronmonaghan6883 saaame I think we all do
@@cameronmonaghan6883 I wish Baragon and Varan had more movies.
This play seems to be the version recorded in OSTINATO. Anyway, we can say surely
this is one of maestro Ifukube's masterpieces.
Loved the final battle!
All we need is some Eiji Tsuburaya-style miniature vehicles to go along with this.
This is actually one of my favorite themes from the G movies, this sounds awesome!
Edit: Typo
This sounds like it could be in a Heisei movie
A few Ostinato tracks were actually used directly in Godzilla vs Biollante (the Mothra vs Godzilla Theme and Godzilla March)
@@Gojirawars03 oh nice!
AAAAA THANKYOU INCREDIBLE
best theme ever
I can think of the astronauts' rotating cockpit scene during the Moonlight SY3 Rocket VS Fire Dragon (spaceship) in the movie
True.........but it STILL SOUNDS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO TOTALLY AWESOME to listen to.
うわー!大好きですありがとうgojirawars03
Kinda good ❤❤❤
I like varan and baragon and Godzilla
This would make an excellent G-Force march. Like, imagine if G-Force rolled out to face Gigan Miles with transforming Protoculture mechs that shoot particle beam cannons, freeze rays and full metal missiles! Maybe some cadmium missiles too if the National Diet decides to sign off on them.
They actually used a version of this melody in Godzilla vs King Ghidorah in 1991.
@@Gojirawars03 I know, but I never liked that version.
I love this movie 🎥
i like this music
This is kinda fire
Great!!!
This is a good song
This is solid nice job
Not mine.
Gojirawars 03 oh still nice though
Imagine you hear this in the intro of the last monster verse film💀
Just checking nice
Now why does this sound like a song you can see an army marching to?
Charles Walker Possibly because it’s a March.
Solo trip
Me and the bois on our way to tokyo for the 483828283847th time:
1.5x
Final wars but with literally every single Kaiju that has ever appeared in any type of media Godzilla was in all were in one movie had to use a soundtrack:
😊😊😊🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤😮
It was better if baragon varan manda fighted ghidorah but hes just watching all monsters attack ghidorah
1968
The movie itself was released in 1968. This is a concert recording of the soundtrack from 1986.
This song really tells the truth history of Japan, if you miss this in your life you are lost
Godzilla’s best look was DAM Aans Godzilla vs Hedorah after that he looked so goofy why did they even change the 68-71 look of Godzilla ?
Because the suit was literally rotting as they were filming Godzilla vs Gigan. It was literally unusable by the time of Godzilla vs Megalon.
@@Gojirawars03 ye, the suit was literally falling apart during the fight with gigan.
写真のせいでキングギドラも仲間に見える
ミニラ行進曲?
Si
I prefer how the original sounds, deeper pitched.
Well, this is technically just the exact same track re-recorded with better sound quality, but I get what you mean.
@@Gojirawars03 Re-recordings can sometimes sound very different from their original counterpart.
I think of the former prime minister of Japan
Dude, Kiyu's evil twin just got shot on my channel!
Its 1968 not 1986
The concert that featured this recording of the piece was performed in 1986.
1968 not "1986"
No, the movie was released in 1968. This is a concert recording from 1986.
@@Gojirawars03 ahhh ok thx for the info
