Man, Akira Ifukube really knew how to make a scene good. Without this track, we'd just have Godzilla stepping on tanks for the 45th time. But instead, we have this amazingness to headbang to.
So I mainly play Japan in War Thunder and recently got into the Cold War era vehicles. So I made a music mod for War Thunder that replaced the music that plays for more modern vehicles with music for the JSDF in Godzilla. This was the one I used for jets cause of how fast paced it was. And I gotta say, there’s a unique adrenaline rush this song gives after getting enough points in ground battles to spawn in as a jet. And this music plays as you approach the battlefield in incomparable speeds compared to what you had just experienced in a tank, with a roaring engine echoing in your ears. And you go in on the attack with this continuing to blast. It adds a whole new layer of enjoyment that you never understand just by watching the films. The song is given an entirely new context that fits perfectly when it shows up in gameplay like that. Not just being a passive listener in a film, but being part of the action as the track begins to play.

I hate it when people take japanese films for granted they are just as effective as western films of not more. And they're composer's are also say better than ours! Thank you!
Dude... Definitely! I 100% agree!! Everything down to the soundtracks just has more effort. Like look at Godzilla 2014? It was incredibly bland. The Muto monsters felt like something out of a video game than a real proper kaiju that we've seen in Toho Godzilla movies. I fully appreciate the recent Shin Godzilla movie. Godzilla is a monster worthy of an orchestra

This is the Era where the Military March went off every time it was played, some may say it was even “Legendary”
Fun fact: this theme is a combination of modified military motifs from the films Rodan and Frankenstein vs. Baragon.
