Hello, I just ordered this bike, thanks for you very good review! I want to put flatout also in these tires, do you know how much should put in each tire? I know with 4 inch fat tire they say to put 1/2 the bag but 2.4 inch, I don't know. Thanks again.

I usually follow the dosage page on the Flatout website. www.flatouttire.com/dosage/
You can also contact them through their website contact form to get an answer. I would estimate you’d need 11-12 ounces.

How would you compare the Ride1Up 700 step-thru at $500 cheaper than the Velotric Discover 2?

Do you or anybody else have solutions to the front basket/rack attachment issue? Another reviewer commented that the front basket when attached makes the brake cables stretch too far. Are you aware of this and do you have a work around, or??? I want to buy this bike but the basket thing is stopping me. TIA

Sorry. I haven’t tried adding a basket to test the issue. I would recommend reaching out to Velotric to ask how they address the issue as they might have a ready solution.

......lot's of customer complaints, issues and poor customer support with Velotric. Velotric did a great job with checking all the boxes with what people want on a bike although the 75 Nm of torque is way too low for a 750 watt hub. Should be 85-95 Nm
