Guau! This brings me back to when I was a teenager and started to listen to all Iron Maiden songs, including b-sides like Sanctuary and many others. Great reaction!

I didn't hear this until I got the first 10 years 10 CD collection in '90. There are some other covers and one-off b-sides you'll find. You are right about the repetitive chorus, but it's cool hearing this again. 🤘

I remember this from its addition on the Australian release of "Killers" LP. EMI may have been trying to use this song to break Maiden in Oz (didn't really happen until Run to the Hills) since Skyhooks were like a Kiss-level supergroup at the time. Ironically, Skyhooks' biggest hit was probably "I'm Living in the 70s", which is where the lyrics to "Women in Uniform" should probably have stayed! The Maiden cover is not bad and IMHO actually better than the original, but agree the best part is Paul Di'Anno's vocals - it really suits his vocal style.

The original is from an Australian band Skyhooks, vocals are much stronger.

Good morning from New England...I've been a fan of their music over the yrs..This is with their original singer..Much more punk and rock than the progressive stuff they went on to do..I saw them in 2019 and although the overall show was good they were billing it as their faire well tour then at the end Bruce said they had a new album and tour the following yr...wth..? Plus the promoter said they hadn't played my state in 28 yrs and they didn't even do a 2 hr set... Again Wth..? At $150 ticket price I felt cheated and disappointed..Still a fan but I'll never spend $ to see them again.. Peace ✌️

IM is one of If not the best show I’ve ever seen and I only got to see it Ozzfest. Tickets for the Maiden show coming near me are $250 per ticket for NozeBleedz
