Huge thanks Steve. I missed this one which, when you “stand back” and look at it in the frame, the depth of the picture is scarely breathtaking. You’re such a genius mate. Your dad must be well proud of you. All the best and thanks again for sharing. Cheers Steve.
Hi Steven. I love your fast , unhesitating approach to painting. I think that is what makes your paintings unique. Beautiful feel of light , clouds and autumnal atmosphere. This is my world too. Thank you. Best regards. Dariusz.
Nice pale blue and pinkish for the sky and some rolling hills in the distance. At the bottom of the dark hill on right hand side are three pretty houses. The lands are beautiful with a variety of pastel colors. A few small dark trees on left hand side. There are some dark bushes on both sides of the clear water which creates a nice contrast and big rocks on right side of this lovely scene. Great demo in drawing the short lines on water. Thank you Steven for sharing this interesting video with very instructive demos.
Nice colors of rainbow on your paper Steven. A few distant mountains as well as darker ones on top at right hand side. Nice blue and small white clouds for a beautiful sky. Pretty little houses with cute red roof on right hand side. With a variety of pastel colors this pretty land on right hand side. Big nice rocks on land at right hand side. Interesting demo for small waves using the brush. In all beautiful view of this scene Steven which I follow you painting with great pleasure and interest. Thank you Steven for your wonderful teaching and demos.
Steven this is a really beautiful painting. Thank you. Its different from your usual ones. I love the light you manage to incorporate into your paintings. Stunning stuff. Keep going, you inspire so many of us.
Nice pastel colors on your paper Steven and blue for the sky. On the horizon line some dark mountains and a land of various colors going down forming a foreground. Same on the left hand side. At bottom of mountains on this side lot of thin rocks with reflections. Three white small pretty houses on mountains right side. Some dark bushes and banks on left side of land. Some more bushes and rocks on right hand side which form a foreground. Nice pastel colors of sky reflect on water in lovely way. A few ripples on water. Thank you Steven for this beautiful video and very interesting teachings with demos. I must tell you that besides that I am also learning English with new words used in your explanations.
Great painting. You are by far my favorite watercolor TH-cam channel. I actually found an old Ron Ranson book in a used bookstore yesterday called, "Big Brush Watercolor". I love his simple yet effective techniques and you are great to carry on this style. Thank you so much for all your hard work making these videos.
+madaca that was the same book I also discovered in a bookshop one day which started me off on my watercolour journey. I wish you well with your watercolour painting. Keep practicing and best wishes
Very pretty colors on your paper Steven. Why do you put colors on all the page when the horizon line is high and you may not need them ? Small houses on the right hand side near trees. Different way you draw the houses this time Steven by doing the roof after the walls. And I like this little cute house with her red roof. Beautiful foreground with a variety of pastel colors and rocks on its side. Beautiful cove Steven with its pretty tiny waves. Nice reflection of the sky on the water. Lovely painting Steven and I thank you for always sharing. I noticed that this video is new.
+Mireille Romain to be honest I don't plan anything when starting these paintings. I'll put colours all over the paper and generally just work with what happens. I try and put the colours roughly when I think I will need them but to be honest the colours are not the most important thing. It's the lights and darks and tonal contrast that make a painting.
Magnifique travail une très belle creation je vous suis tout le temps Mr Cronin . Juste une question avec quoi vous gratté les pierres et les roches de vos aquarelles ? Merci de me répondre et bonne journée.
+Mireille Romain the Horizon line can be anywhere you want it to be depending on whether you want to emphasize the Sky or the land. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching and happy painting
What perspective! What UNIQUENESS! My appreciation fails to express your genius
Many thanks and happy painting

Steven, for an harmonious scene where should the horizon line be ? U, in the middle, or down the page ? Thank you for answering.
