Marble Cake with Gold Leaf | How to make Marbled Fondant Cake

Hi and welcome back to my kitchen. This week I'm showing you step by step how to add a marbled fondant panel around your cake with a ripped or torn edge, finished off with gold edible paint. These fondant / sugarpaste wraps look so pretty to add additional colour onto your cake and look so delicate on the side of a birthday cake. Rip the edge or use a ball tool to ruffle the edge to create different effects.

Did you allow the fondant dry before covering it?

No, I used it after about fifteen minutes, it depends on how soft your fondant is, if it's too soft, rest longer.
