I have not dated for the past 5 years and I have to say I don't remember being this happy and content in my life. I see couples walking around and I must say I don't envy those women at all. I know what they have to do to be in that relationship and my attitude is "no, thanks, I'm good."

Being in a relationship dragged me down as a person, I lost focus on myself, stopped taking care of myself, wasted my time, lack of sleep, lack of my own priorities. I’ve been single for more than a year now and I changed to the better. I travel more often than ever, experiencing new places and trying new skills, I feel more alive and I now have better quality of time with my loved ones. I may not be singable forever but now that I’m single I’ll try to enjoy it as much as I can

I have a theory. Guys are told being single is so much better than being in a relationship and end up disappointed when single life isn't what it's said to be. The key is to allow yourself to adjust to being single, living alone, being content with your own company. Many people will fight it, allow themselves to wallow about loneliness. When a person gives it time, finds ways to be happy about every little thing, they become content with their own company. After doing this since 2012, having allowed myself to adjust, life is so much richer, rewarding, more peaceful. When 2 people begin their married life, there is a period of adjustment. When any relationship ends, it's important to realize that it takes time to adjust. Many people hop from one relationship to the next, then when that one ends they hop to the next. Skipping the time to adjust causes people to drag so much baggage. The baggage from all the prior relationships often dooms the next one. When I allowed myself to adjust to being single & celibate, I began to realize that being single is a gift I gave myself. Life is good!

Being single is so much fun, I wake up whenever I feel like it, I exercise whenever I want to and I never have to have sex with anyone. When you have sex, your body is drained of almost all physical strength and you have very little energy to do much else. Being single means that I never have to have sex ever again, that's amazing because I love to exercise. I'm from a broken home family. I have mental problems and i thought that having a boyfriend can change my mental health to get better. Vox did a great piece on how this study was full of errors and never fact checked, it's incorrect. I became a multimillionaire at age 40, and started really travelling the world, living all over. It gave me the ability to really contrast cultures. From my experience single women in western countries are extremely depressed. When I had time to date, I found about 50%+ of the single women were on some type of antidepressant and needed alcohol to sleep, very weird. They claimed their lives were amazing but their sad eyes told a different story. Overseas I did not experience this, the single women there were happy but lonely, and openly admitted they wanted someone to go to the beach or dancing, or even tell them they look beautiful and they are loved. I find myself turning away from the west because this silly war of the sexes and everyone here is full of hurt and quite frankly the culture is toxic. I think a good partner can bring a lot of love and joy to your life, but a bad one can ruin your life, so one must be selective. I am not optimistic about the west because the culture is so dehumanizing. I will likely marry overseas because western women are victims of a toxic culture that sets them up for failure in marriage and love.

I can only speak from personal experience, but I’m always MUCH happier single. Tbh I don’t really have physical needs, and I have a ton of hobbies that bring me great life satisfaction. Relationships so far have actually lowered my quality of life every time. I exercise less, sleep less, spend more money, eat worse, and don’t have as much time for my hobbies. Everyone’s different, but that’s just one perspective

I have not dated for the past 5 years and I have to say I don't remember being this happy and content in my life. I see couples walking around and I must say I don't envy those women at all. I know what they have to do to be in that relationship and my attitude is "no, thanks, I'm good."

Being in a relationship dragged me down as a person, I lost focus on myself, stopped taking care of myself, wasted my time, lack of sleep, lack of my own priorities. I’ve been single for more than a year now and I changed to the better. I travel more often than ever, experiencing new places and trying new skills, I feel more alive and I now have better quality of time with my loved ones. I may not be singable forever but now that I’m single I’ll try to enjoy it as much as I can

I even learn to hate sex, it disgusts me. I took care of everyone and did for everyone and now it is my turn to be selfish and do all of that caregiving and love for myself.

growing up i always thought that the way to break intergenerational trauma patterns was to find a securely attached loving and committed , non violent non abusive partner and raise a family with him but after trying hard to make relationships work and not getting the same effort in return i have come to a realization that perhaps another way to break the pattern is to stay securely single and work on my own healing and honoring all the women ancestors before me who were forced into marriage and experienced domestic violence.....staying single that way will imply that all the intergenerational trauma will end with me, i won't be passing it forward

In 2012, after having my heart shattered for the last time I will allow it, I decided to be single & celibate. The key is to allow yourself to adjust to being single, living alone, being content with your own company.
Many people will fight it, allow themselves to wallow about loneliness.
When a person gives it time, finds ways to be happy about every little thing, they become content with their own company. After doing this since 2012, having allowed myself to adjust, life is so much richer, rewarding, more peaceful.
When 2 people begin their married life, there is a period of adjustment. When any relationship ends, it's important to realize that it takes time to adjust. Many people hop from one relationship to the next, then when that one ends they hop to the next. Skipping the time to adjust causes people to drag so much baggage. The baggage from all the prior relationships often dooms the next one.
When I allowed myself to adjust to being single & celibate, I began to realize that being single is a gift I gave myself. Life is good!

Being single is so much fun, I wake up whenever I feel like it, I exercise whenever I want to and I never have to have sex with anyone. When you have sex, your body is drained of almost all physical strength and you have very little energy to do much else. Being single means that I never have to have sex ever again, that's amazing because I love to exercise. Best part of being single is that I get to study my bible and pray without an annoying partner snoring or whatever. People should repent before Jesus Christ because he will return soon.

I'm from a broken home family. I have mental problems and i thought that having a boyfriend can change my mental health to get better. Sadly now i ended up with the wrong person and my mental health gets worse than before. I feel numb, brain fog, like physically alive but mentally dead. I'm not the same anymore. Vox did a great piece on how this study was full of errors and never fact checked, it's incorrect. I became a multimillionaire at age 40, and started really travelling the world, living all over. It gave me the ability to really contrast cultures. From my experience single women in western countries are extremely depressed. When I had time to date, I found about 50%+ of the single women were on some type of antidepressant and needed alcohol to sleep, very weird. They claimed their lives were amazing but their sad eyes told a different story. Overseas I did not experience this, the single women there were happy but lonely, and openly admitted they wanted someone to go to the beach or dancing, or even tell them they look beautiful and they are loved. I find myself turning away from the west because this silly war of the sexes and everyone here is full of hurt and quite frankly the culture is toxic. I think a good partner can bring a lot of love and joy to your life, but a bad one can ruin your life, so one must be selective. I am not optimistic about the west because the culture is so dehumanizing. I will likely marry overseas because western women are victims of a toxic culture that sets them up for failure in marriage and love.

I can only speak from personal experience, but I’m always MUCH happier single. Tbh I don’t really have physical needs, and I have a ton of hobbies that bring me great life satisfaction. Relationships so far have actually lowered my quality of life every time. I exercise less, sleep less, spend more money, eat worse, and don’t have as much time for my hobbies. Everyone’s different, but that’s just one perspective
