Golf cart overhaul to lithium super cart! We’ve had an old 2009 EZGO RXV golf cart at the farm that’s been broken down for years and just sitting in the woods. We really didn’t know what to do with it, so I decided to take it on as a project and turn it into something cool. I knew I wanted something fast, lowered, and convertible looking (with no top and a chopped down windshield). You don't see many lowered golf carts but I wanted something with a unique look that you don't often see. I didn't find that lowering the golf cart was too hard and I explain how I accomplished this in the video.
The first thing I did was perform a lithium battery conversion by dumping the heavy lead acid batteries and upgrading to lithium golf cart batteries. I chose a 48v RoyPow lithium battery for this cart because of their high quality and high output specifications for lithium battery conversions. I believe ROYPOW make some of the best golf cart batteries out there. After my top speed test, I was convinced! The ROWPOW lithium battery paired with a 600amp Navitas controller seemed like a perfect combo for high performance. In this video I show the steps on how-to install the battery with the different components such as resistor, on/off remote button, battery meter, and battery charger. Really nice and very clean look! Project success. Do you think it would be possible to put this battery set up on a four wheel drive Bad Boy buggy? I’m over battery acid leaking and filling batteries with distilled water.
Absolutely! You will never look back and you won’t miss the LA maintenance, smell, and charging time! This Rowpow puts out some serious juice but you can only get them through dealers. Hey there! You can’t go wrong with either battery. The RoyPow won’t fit in my Club Car due to the frame size. I had to use the BigBattery #2/24v batteries to get them to fit. I like all the extras with the RowPow like the remote monitor and on/off switch. It’s also built like a tank. Really comes down to what your frame will allow to fit. I have a discount code at BigBattery if you go that route. You’ll need to find a dealer for the RowPow but they are a solid battery! Good luck!
What brand is the seat covers
How would you recommend I proceed when buying a golf course cart and turn it into a hunting cart. Don't care about speed. I need hill climbing ability.
Buy an old club car and install an AMD Torque Beast motor with a 48v 500amp DC controller. Get a good lithium battery and you’ll be climbing hills and pulling trailer’s with ease. Have fun!!
What would be an estimate/guesstimate of cost if I do just the items you've recommended ?
Give yourself a $1k for the motor, $800 for controller, and 2-3k for lithium battery. Guesstimate around 5k. Hope that helps!

They are complete replacements not covers. They are made by ILVGOLF on Amazon. Much higher quality than I was expecting…very pleased.
