Hi Kevin, great video. I am looking at duplicating what you have done here with your cart. A couple of questions. Besides the Allied Lithium battery, did you have to change the stock controller and motor that normally come with the E60L
Awesome cart! I love my E60L too, and planning on building mine something like yours. I even have the same color. Waiting till needing new batteries to upgrade to the lithium. Which led headlights did you put on? Been searching to upgrade those since I got it. Great idea for the double sound bar. I’ve only got the one, but thinking about installing the subwoofer to match the soundbar. Anyways, thanks for posting this video, and please post one with the soundbar/sub playing music with you doing a shot of you driving by the camera to get the full effect of what it sounds like down the road with you coming down going 35mph! Thanks again!!!
I wound up going with fleet lithium, it plugs and plays right into to the epic! I actually went with a 76 V and tune. The golf cart now goes 50 mph! We Carry them on our website lakesidebuggies.com. On the sound bars, I’ve actually got four of the Eco gear bars now lol. I have a JL W6 10” underneath the backseat. And a kicker 10 inch underneath the front. I’m running both with an 800 watt scar amp. Shoot me an email kevin@lakesidebuggies.com I’ll be happy to get you set up with all of the parts that you’ll need some free advice!
Can buy 3 new wuling mini ev cars with heating and air and full weather protection and door locks, and still have enough for a all inclusive 2 week tropical vacation, or one of these golf carts?
Impressive speed for a golf cart but seeing the steering wheel vibrating in your hands looks a bit out of control for me. Safety over speed every time ! I have a Bintelli and like my 25 mph max speed with plenty of stability. Thanks for sharing the video.
Great video... We bought a 2023 EPIC E40FL 48V in September and need help figuring out why it won't even go 25 mph and boggs down with 4 people maybe going 15 on a straight road. The place we bought it has taken it in 3 or 4 times now and can't figure it out. Do we need to put the Lithium battery in it? With the current batteries, they told us it would easily do 25. Any advise is much appreciated.
Sue, you have air in your brake lines, it’s a fairly simple fix, but we have dealt with it on a few early to mid 2022 build date carts you need to have the dealer loosen the connecting shaft from the pedal to the master cylinder so the range of motion into the master cylinder is decreased, the pedal is over extending the seals in the master cylinder allowing air to become trapped inside, this air cannot escape and will cause your brakes to lock up, it is fixable
Hey so can you do 2 150 amp hour batteries? Or 4 105? Rhode Island legalized lsv and it’s legal here. For my work commute it would be awesome. My only thing is range. I like at it like if 210 amp battery will get 80miles (65-70 lifted). The 300 or 400 amp total will give me will over my mark for 100 mile range. Also the battery will drain heavily cause i would be playing music, loud and constantly.
There’s not enough room under the seat for that many batteries, if you’re looking to purchase 10 or more, we could look at making a custom battery pack for you specifically with Fleet lithiums engineers. Also you can get an 80 mile range out of our 76 150 battery and likely 100+ mile range if you aren’t full throttle the whole time. The epic has a big advantage with its 72v capable system. And the bigger voltage doesn’t require as much amperage as 51v to go or maintain the same speeds, the Also, the Vibe Flex carts and 6 passenger ev4’s are all 72v capable. Music and lights don’t seem to drain these batteries as quickly as lead acid will
If I opted to not get the radio system installed, could I add a second 150 amp battery? I know the range on electric car isn't that great to begin with.
Has this cart had any issues with the motor or controller now that it has been sped up for quite a while now? I ask because I have an icon I want to make sure i'm not damaging it in the long run.
Could a guy put another battery of the same under the front seat to have double the battery life before recharge? Maybe a switch to flip between the 2 when one goes dead like on a boat?
hey could build this cart that's in the video but make it red and the seat stitching red instead of blue? With light bar in the front and led lights on the top and bottom cart.

Nope! Stock controller
@@lakesidebuggiesWow I want one, but I a, broke, I got no money to buy a golf cart, it would be fun having a gold cart,
I would GPS verify this, usually the speedo is way off.
I have multiple times, Its accurate to within 2%

50 mph that's crazy!

Did you "raise the speed on the governor" type thing? Or does it go that fast OEM???
It’s been reprogrammed

Steering wheel is vibrating over rough roads, the cart has a 72 volt battery now does 45 mph and it’s smooth as butter on the street
45 mph THATS INSANE!!!
I just bought this same cart. Are you saying that all i need to get it to go 35mph is to swap my batteries for a lithium one?
Not exactly unless you buy a larger more expensive lithium like a 72v
What make and model is that extra screen with Apple car play?
We used to sell these on our website but haven’t had them for a few months. It was one we carried via lakeside buggies direct
How do I place an order for one?

If you are local give us a call, lithium will not change it

What acceleration figure and speed figure did you use?
For liability purposes we can't disclose. I got in a little trouble for posting these videos. Whoops.

what’s the cost of the cart?
Glorified icon ?
Kevin what software are you using? Is this the Marshel controller?
This is using an EnPower 500 Amp Controller
Did you get the new cluster with the updated software? noticed the charge on the cart didn't go down from 90%
Not yet, but it is in the works with ICON currently.
If I opted to not get the radio system installed, could I add a second 150 amp battery? I know the range on electric car isn't that great to begin with.
You could get the battery and the radio system. There’s no reason to pick which one you have to go with or without.

Not yet, 500 miles and counting
sweet. I have almost 1000 miles on my icon tuned to max out at 35mph and it's holding up great. Icons and Epics are well made @@lakesidebuggies

$17,000
Drive safe. 37mph is too fast for a golf cart. 60kmh, you can drive it on high way now.
That's a nice cart but skar is junk!
