    Thanks for the vid. I installed lithium batteries a few years ago. I wired an off brand adaptor for my Club Car Precedent. It ended up overheating. I decided to setup onboard, but I'm unsure what to do with the ground wire since there are three wires coming from the charger.

    I'm currently trying to install the 150Ah version of this battery on my 2016 Textron Ambush IS (built off the EZGO TXT). The battery barely fits under the seat, and only after I used to an angle grinder to cut away some of the brackets.

      Yes, Allied has since released a lower bracket for height issues

    Can you do a hill test of Allie battery, eco battery and Roypow battery, people love to know whether the battery's BMS can handle that kind of situation. Thanks

    Do you have a part number for the charge receptacle power passthrough? Allied's is round but it looks like you have an Eco Battery part there. Thanks!

    • @PalmettoBatteryPros
      @PalmettoBatteryPros  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, we normally use the receptacles by Eco. They are available on our website.

    Love the video - have you used this for the RXV? I’m trying to get the best option for mine and it seems like mixed reviews on lithium and RXV. Any suggestions?

    • @PalmettoBatteryPros
      @PalmettoBatteryPros  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I recommend the Eco Bundle, its a more complete kit and made for the RXV. I haven't installed an Allied in an RXV yet, but I have ECO and RoyPow.

    Does the original 36 volt motor handle the 48 volts and does the solenoid have to be changed?

    • @PalmettoBatteryPros
      @PalmettoBatteryPros  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I would double check your specific motor by the part number, but most 38v motors can handle 48v.

    Is it the same installation process for the rxv??

      Very similar. Maybe some slight differences in mounting due to tray being a little different. Everything else is the same.

    which brand of voltage reducer is shown in your video, There are so many on Amazon with wide range of prices. I am looking for a 20A or 30A 48 to 12 volt reducer for my club car DS 2002

    My 36 v txt has a fuse block with 3- 15 amp fuses for lights horn etc. It has one green wire which was connected to a positive on one of the 6 v batteries. How do I hook up the voltage reducer with this setup ?

    • @PalmettoBatteryPros
      @PalmettoBatteryPros  ปีที่แล้ว

      Tough one without seeing. The reducer should have a positive going to the 36v battery bank and also a negative. 36v in the reducer and 12v out.

    Are these durable. I am wanting do this for my hunting cart. It goes over bump dusty terrain daily. Just wondering if it will handle it well.

    • @PalmettoBatteryPros
      @PalmettoBatteryPros  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It mounts very securely to the cart and I have not had any customers have issues with durability. The modules and BMS are well protected inside the battery's shell.

    was the speed increase from 36v to the new setup?

    • @PalmettoBatteryPros
      @PalmettoBatteryPros  ปีที่แล้ว

      Speed is more of a controller motor issue, but yes, most people get a couple extra MPH due to extra voltage and 255+ lbs off the cart in lead acid weight.

    Temperature range on this battery? I’ve tried lithium on my motorcycle and they won’t start under 40f unless I leave a heat source on it all night

    • @PalmettoBatteryPros
      @PalmettoBatteryPros  ปีที่แล้ว

      The battery has low temp protections at 34 degrees.

      I have a lithium battery on my bike. All I do is turn on the bike and let it sit for a few minutes without starting the motor. The battery will warm up on it's own and you'll be fine.

    Can you leave the 36 volt motor with 48 setup ?

    • @PalmettoBatteryPros
      @PalmettoBatteryPros  ปีที่แล้ว

      I would google and double check the part number on your motor. I can’t say exactly without seeing your motor, but from my experience the motor can handle 48v. Def need to replace controller and solenoid.

    what gauge wire is this? Is it rated for continuous current or max discharge?

    • @PalmettoBatteryPros
      @PalmettoBatteryPros  ปีที่แล้ว

      Which wire? I recommend 2awg for main cables and 12-16awg for everything else. Max is 600a and continuous is 185a.
