Welcome Mahindra to the channel! They've decided to GO HEAVY in the Australian market, introducing the XUV700 and Scorpio-N to fight the likes of Chinese brands MG and GWM Haval. But should you be spending your hard earned cash on the 7-Seat SUV Mahindra XUV700? Can you live with its quirks? In today's review, we're going to talk about that!

Mahindra should price it at a premium. Then all the features would be appreciated more. Seems like outside of India, everyone looks at price and tries to box it into a cheap car segment and forget to appreciate it...

The best they can offer is the Alnac 4G line. They're hard even compared to MRFs. Now compare that to Continental or Yokohama or Michelin. Good road tires are grippy comfy and silent. In india this car has over 7 months of waiting period. Your review was mind (not accepting the brand abilities as its new to you), vs heart which realised that this car is actually a great package, in first trial run itself. Similarly some day Tata motors will reach there as well with their Safari and Harriers , These brands have taken over indian car market by storm, even korean and Japanese car brands are now struggling to keep with these indian car makers.

Hated tubeless tyres just for that and their warranties are so useless for real life damages it gets. Ceat is also a poor quality tyre but offers great replacement warranty. MRF works better but hard and bumpy. My new car came with Bridgestone and will have to wait to form an opinion. But from my experience, Apollo is least recommended at it's price point in India.

You forget about the chassis built quality and safety. In India its not a cheap car. 31lakh INR on road for AX7 auto diesel.

You have seen only Korean cars in India maybe, they got better cars in different markets. But Indians cars got potential than Koreans, because of the manufacturing power.

The only reason Indian and Chinese cars are selling are because the Japanese, Korean, European and Americans are struggling with demand and are increasing prices more than it should. When demand for new cars reduce, most likely these Chinese and Indan cars will leave the Australian market.

The only thing I don't like about this car is that it doesn't have a telescope steering wheel. I'm 6,1 and my legs feel cramped with my dad's seat settings and if I adjust it my arms are stretched forward and I get some pain on my shoulders.
