- It's only been a few months since the launch of the iPhone 15 series, but you know how this works. Speculation surrounding the upcoming 2024 iPhone 16 lineup began pretty much the day after we got to see the current iPhones. We obviously don't cover all of it, but once we get analysts, and insiders to agree with some of the leakers, well then it's time for another deep dive.

I think *THE* biggest change is that unlike the iPhone 14 and 15 "regular" models will be the fact both the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro models will all use the same generation of SoC, with the iPhone 16 models using a version with less active CPU and GPU cores than the iPhone 16 Pro models. That could allow the regular iPhone 16 to have 8 GB of RAM, support of the USB 3.2 1x2 10 gigabit per second data transfer, support for WiFi 7, and even possibly use the Snapdragon X75 radio modem chip.

Yeah but they are all the same mate , look at pixels , almost the same , look at galaxy’s , other than chipset and a few tweaks to camera and a software update like all the others …. Nothing new bud , oh actually I tell a lie , the pixel 8 pro got the temperature sensor …… guess how many times I have used it on my 8 pro , only once , checked the body temperature of two cars parked in the hot ozzy sun , one painted white and the other black , and yes there was measurable difference where the black car was hotter😄.
And that’s the extent of my use of that very useful feature 😂.

I think I’ll keep my 13 mini for another year if the 16’s get more expensive. This phone is still perfectly fine for me it doesn’t look like they’ll be bringing back the mini size anytime soon.

I own an iPhone 11, good phone but I’m wondering when will Apple abandon it….
So I went looking for an iPhone 14 Pro Max, but the best price that I found was for $ 750 to $ 800 and that was for either used or refurbished.
What I’m hoping for is that they release a SE model in both a regular size and a plus model so I can get newer tech at a reasonable price.

I don’t think iPhone pros will have MLA as it’s an LG tech. Samsung as last few years have provided display tech so maybe QD-oled tech but Samsung currently cannot scale it to phone size displays

Its not a smartphone, if you cant even put icons where you desire. I can put just one icon anywhere I want on my home screen on an android, I cant on my iPhone.
These are just incremental improvements, nothing groundbreaking.
Generative AI is the big one, but as long as previous iPhones also get most of this feature, I don't think the iPhone 16 will become a runaway hit.

I'm mostly excited about the AI upgrades, I've been dreaming of fast and accurate voice transcription and voice typing on the iPhone, and a much smarter Siri that can actually understand what I'm saying and answer my questions. It would be nice to get more features on iOS like Android phones have as well.

As I am not a iphone guy this video is not for me. Where's android giving that 1 inch sensor, good optics, periscope and many other cutting edge technology, the normal variant still on 60hz. Amazing. The year 8 gen 4 seems to be overtaking A 18 pro both in single and multicore and android also have that 7 year of software update. So I am out of these debate entirely.😮😮

why is it boring? don't you have premium subscriptions and better apps in iPhones to not be bored...esp uploads of moments in group chats like messenger and wechat and whatsapp...it's of higher quality when iPhone is used to upload photos and videos. Videos are far better even at night in iPhones so going out with friends and family are much more fun since memories are better captured

A 90hz refresh rate and 3 x optical zoom is badly needed for the price point, the pro will have 120hz and 5x zoom.perfect.

I'm switching my useless s21 ultra for the IPhone 16 in September by this year I'm done with Samsung already I've been getting lagging and bad reception and heating up and cracks on the screen I'm so tired of this s21 ultra i got I'm getting an iPhone i don't care anymore i wouldn't switch back to Samsung at all i would definitely switch over to iPhone i would not regret my decisions at all i would be very much happy with an iPhone than a Samsung sorry but I'm gonna trade in this s21 ultra i got for the new iPhone in September of this year
