- Join Douglas and Adam as they tackle Adam's tallest peak to date - Tinto! Within easy reach of the cities of the central belt and with an isolated position away from the other Border's hills, Tinto is an extremely popular and straightforward hill. The usual route is from a car park near Thankerton but there is also a more challenging route from the south. The summit has a huge bronze age cairn and commands superb views.

Brillaint video. Been up their a couple of years ago. Never got views when i was their. I think a return visit with my son is on the cards. Well done young man. Good luck on Ben Nevis lol. You can do it.
Thanks Alan! Yeah I’d definitely recommend taking your son on a nice day 😃
Hi Douglas, Hi Adam. Very well done young man, excellent job. Here’s to many more big hills. All the best
Dave 😀⛰🥾🏴
Thanks Dave, much appreciated!
Why the change from Graham to Fiona? Your kid is never going to be ultralight with all those rocks in his pocket! 😆
The name "Graham" was trademarked recently by a new book by Alan Dawson, the trademark refers to hills between 600m and 2500', rather than the traditional 2000' to 2500'. Walkhighlands still wants to use the traditional catagory rather than the new one, so they have decided to use the first name of Fiona Graham instead to refer to these hills.
To be clear, as far as I can tell the Graham name is released under Creative Commons. So you can still use it, but if you are publishing anything it can only be used to refer to hills between 600m and 2500'.
He’s got a fascination with rocks!! My house is full of them 😂
Well done young man. Culter Fell next. Then Ben Nevis😂
Thanks Del! Culter Fell is a good circuit - Alistair and I did that many years ago, before we did videos.
Well done the hill o fire. Done it in the summer.
