- After running a marathon Douglas was a broken man, therefore the Highland Hikers took to the Lowther Hills for a gentler walk above Wanlockhead. Taking in the tops of Green Lowther, Lowther Hill and East Mount Lowther Douglas hobbled round on a glorious afternoon in Scotland's Southern Uplands.

Good times guys.
It was a good day out
Did the Lowther skyline yesterday with a wee camp afterwards. If you start at Elvanfoot then attain Lousie Dodd Law ...then over all of them all the way to East Mount Lowther. Its a cracking day out. Great video as ever..... Always enjoy you lads stuff👍💯
We did the first two near Elvanfoot just after the first lockdown. They were great as there wasn’t a soul to be seen. Much the same as these!
Another great video lads! Thanks for sharing. I hope you enjoyed your pints! Hopefully catch you in the hills soon :)
Thanks Calum. Dougs enjoyed his pint after feeling the pain for a while
Done all of them love it ♥highest in UK :)
All the pubs or all of the mountains? 😂
@@HighlandHikers The hills 🤣
I think the pubs might be more of an achievement!
Nice job on your marathon! What was your time? After seeing so many antenna towers at the top of peaks, that round one is a welcome change.
Dougs managed it in 3:17:47, which isn’t too shabby by my standards, although my time would be double that at least!
This hike seems like the perfect blend of challenge and reward. Really looks like a wonderful adventure. Thank you for the motivation guys!
Thanks Mario!
Hi Douglas, hi Alistair, cracking little video guys, lovely weather you had for it. Thanks for sharing your days adventure. Grand days out in the hills are not always about miles and miles and a 100m ascents. 😀⛰🥾🏴
Thanks David. We love to vary it up and see different parts of the country. We’ve had a few fantastic days out and barely done any ascent.
